We only stayed one night at Villa Carona but were glad we made a stop at the place. The hotel has an ambient atmosphere and the beautiful garden and the small details made us feel very welcome. We decided to eat dinner at the hotels restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised about the service. The waiters were very friendly and... More

wonderful gardens, lovely people and a scenery beyond imagination! Not for the newly rich, only for the experienced traveller that knows the world. Rooms are between luxurious suites and good three star comfort. Very good breakfast with local specialities and always a welcoming smile. We sat in the garden in the sunshine and enjoyed the tranquility and fresh air with... More

Beautiful hotel in a Swiss hill town, the staff and owners are very helpful, the honesty bar great and the breakfasts superb, allow plenty of time to eat in the garden soaking up the amazing views and don't miss the hotels own restaurant

Very expensive, with a ridiculously expensive restaurant. They make a big thing about being a classic Swiss hotel, 200 years old, etc., but mainly that meant that the walls were thin and the floors squeaky, so the room was noisy all evening and much of the night. We asked to move to a quieter room, but were told they were... More

Unaccomodating receptionist (male), although there was plenty of availablity inflexible to change rooms. Close to the road, no view of the valley or the lake, old house squeking and shaking floors, paper thin walls, can hear all conversations and bathroom flush from next door and upstairs to keep you awake. Terrible quality thin beds to give you backache. Long way... More

We feel sorry that you were feeling uncomfortable staying with us. The man at the reception was me, Mr. Deubner, the owner and manager of the hotel. I did my best in trying to find a solution for a room change. Unfortunately it was impossible which is not unusual as we were fully booked. The Hotel Villa Carona is a... More

A very nice little hotel, well run and very peaceful. A lovely garden where you can eat a sumptuous plentiful breakfast. We had a lovely romantic weekend here, Carona is very pretty. Would certainly return. Didnt see any ants like a previous review said, maybe we were there at a different time of year?
