Me and my wife visited Europe for 17 days and this turned out to be the best location. Great for honeymonners. Great colors of Lake Brienz you can witness from this hotel. Great spot for Sun rise and Moon rise. Owner is so kind. Great breakfast, here we have had the best soft bread in the world. I would suggest...

This hotel has the most beautiful surroundings. You can't help but be amazed with the beauty as you walk out the front door of the hotel. GORGEOUS, simply gorgeous! The public transit to get to the hotel is very easy...but be sure to take the train to Interlaken Ost, not west, to get closer! The hotel rooms were small, but...

The hotel has such a nice view. Unfortunately, it is badly managed. Pros: 1. Fantastic View (see picture) 2. Good service at their restaurant. Restaurant food is reasonably priced. Cons: 1. Unclean rooms a. We found hair on the beds. b. Old bed sheets in all rooms (very rough and washed so many times that there are pills on it)....

Not a palace, and not so expensive - for a Swiss hotel - and the perfect location... Totally quiet on the lake shore, fantastic view. Chose a room with a view on the lake. Rooms are OK but no more, same for the restaurant. Service is efficient and friendly.

We were booked in for a seven night stay, but checked out after one night. The hotel was hard to find, very dated and in need of a clean. The mountain view was of a set of steps, and you might see a mountain if you lean out the window and crane your neck upwards. The room was supposed to...

If you are looking for a gorgeous view and a peaceful retreat, this is the perfect choice. Yes, the rooms are very dated and worn, but you really don't want to be in your room for long when you have a beautiful lake outside your door, and a boat that picks you up to take you into Interlaken, or cruising...

As the the other reviewers have stated, the views from your rooms are spectacular. The hotel is out of town, but the bus is very convenient. it's at most, a 10 minute ride to the main square in old town. We had two standard rooms. We were disappointed in them. The beds and showers were terrific, but the facilities were...

We stayed here 4 nights. The best thing about the hotel is it's *gorgeous* location on a lake surrounded by mountains. You can swim right in front of the hotel, although that lake water can be very cold, it was probably in the low to mid 60s in july. Family run, friendly helpful owner. Other nice features - wireless internet...
