We had such a pleasant stay at Hotel Aurora. The staff was so serviceminded and especially the owner family. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Furthermore it is very clean and situated close to the cabin in Alba and with the skibus stop just outside the hotel.

If you are planning a trip to this area of Italy and need a place to stay, look no further than Hotel Aurora! From the moment I arrived in the town, I was left breathless by the views of the majestic surrounding mountains, a swiftly running stream and paragliders sailing gracefully above the local peaks. As I pulled up to the front of Hotel Aurora, I was greeting by a tastefully decorated facade with clean, manicured grounds. I was warmly greeted by the owners, Terri and Hugo. I was struck by there enthusiasm and friendliness. The common areas of the hotel was tastefully furnished and very clean. It was apparent that the owners take great pride in their establishment. My room was also very clean and comfortable with all the modern amenities such as cable TV and WiFi. It also had a “million dollar” view! My experienced was enhanced by the food! The dinner that was served was delicious. I had a tasty venison stew, pasta and veggies. During dinner, Hugo and Terri spoke with guests and made sure things were to their liking. If you have questions about the many activities in the area, just ask. Hugo and Terri are a wealth of knowledge about the outdoor sports in the local area and can give you suggestions to make your experience here memorable. I highly recommend a stay here and cannot wait to return to share the experience with my with wife.

Stayed one night at Hotel Aurora. The owners Hugo and Terri are wonderful hosts. The food was magnificent. We had pasta and a venison stew which was out this world. There are world class hiking trails right outside the door. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples and the families.

If you plan on going to this part of Italy this is a perfect option. The hotel is easily accessible by car, especially in the summer. It is located next to the tallest and most beautiful peaks of the dolomiti and close to skislopes. It is clean, and you can taste real local cuisine from a good cook. Also the hosts are nice, and know a lot about the mountains. There are not too many parking spaces, but we found loads of empty spaces nearby. Aurora is the best you can get for your money.
