Good accommodation and restaurant near the reception. Great cocktailbar at the beach. Nice animation for the younger kids. I personally didn't like the swimming pool but i think it is fine for young children. For city trips I would rather choose a nice B&B in central Tuscany. Although the majority of the staff are friendly, the atmosphere in the restaurant near the swimming pool is negatively influenced by the restaurant's little bald waiter. His “hate my job, hate the guests”-look and ignoring behavior can not be discribed other than guest unfriendly, rude and without any respect for the guests of the camping.

Ich canceled the booking around 5 weeks before the planned arrival would be, They sent me a Mail and told me they would give me a refund of 90%, after now 6 Mails unanswered I decided to write a no good review! They didn't refund anything, 198€ for nothing, they just kept my money SO EVERYONE WHO WANT'S TO GO THERE, DO NOT CANCEL YOUR BOOKING! I hoped to not have to write this here but I want to warn everyone who reads this... You decide... I will probalbly never visit Camping Etruria...

We booked one of the lodges for some rest time whilst interrailing. We had no transport but this was not a problem because it was very straight forward catching a bus from the railway station, which dropped us and picked us up at the camp site entrance. Town is a 20 minute walk along the cycle/pathway, which is set back from the road so very safe. We also walked to town along the beach, which was easy. The site was very busy but was still very restful, helped by an afternoon and night 'quiet time', which everybody respected. The shop had basics and the restaurant some lovely pizza and sea food. The beach was a couple of minutes from our lodge so all really easy. Very friendly helpful staff on site. We would love to go back.

My family and I stayed for 2 weeks in a Mirto Mare Bungalow. At first disappointed that it wasn't located in the first row for access to the beach, we quickly changed our minds as the first row ones had all the pedestrian traffic to the beach passing right in front. The bungalow was very basically equipped but was relatively new and super clean. Shower temperature was very unstable - from scorching hot to freezing cold. The A/C unit worked well. Reception staff were very friendly. We did not pay the 7€/person fee to access the overcrowded pool as we had rented sunloungers and sumbrella at the private beach. Beach was not very crowded which was a definitely a plus - sand was clean and water was very nice. There is a supermarket in the nearby town of Donoratico but we found that the little shops and butcher at the campground had much better quality local products even though pricier. The surrounding area is beautiful - vineyards and olive groves, very peaceful and lots of wine and olive oil tasting!
