I really like the staff and service of the hotel. The hotel was very clean. The pools were good. The location was very good because you could stay on the beach near to the hotel or take your car and explore the beaches nearby.

Hotel's Favorite
Loved this hotel, pool was a bit chilly this time of year but kids did not mind and were in it most of the day! Loved the bubble pool. It’s no colder than swimming in an outdoor pool during the UK summer and it’s not going to kill you! The sea was warmer so get to the lovely beach. Take a snorkel, have a walk, explore the area - it’s a peaceful place in October even though the hotel facilities are excellent. Can’t say what it’s like at peak time. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and one of the best things was the mix of nationalities. We felt like it was a proper holiday. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was amazing! The coach transfer is 2hrs but it is worth it if you want a lovely getaway without the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns or resorts and at least you can sit back and take in the countryside. A few shops outside were very handy for forgotten items and souvenirs. Don’t forget the mini golf! Hope to return one day. Thank you to all Zafiro staff.

Mostly good staff and professional, complex is immaculate and clean as was the appartment although a more expensive appartment it was small even for three adults. Restaurants were poor quality and the ala carte was not to that standard of food and presentation

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel but I think that’s more to do with us than the hotel itself! Positives The location, whilst pretty remote, is exceptionally beautiful. The pools are great and with several different areas, there’s enough space and something for everyone. Our room was ok and cleaned daily. The food (in the outside restaurant) was amazing. Excellent quality and plenty of choice. However, during our ten day stay, we did note the following: The main restaurant was uninspiring! The food quality was overall good but the menu extremely repetitive. It’s not a nice restaurant to sit in. Outside is fine but limited tables! Staff here were not the friendliest. Obviously some were lovely, the main pool bar in particular, but reception staff and some waiting staff were actually rude on several occasions. Also, although the hotel was clearly getting busy, they were hugely understaffed (which possibly explains some rudeness) and also contributed to very long wait times to be served. The hotel is arranged in blocks of accommodation and whilst externally are very pretty with lots of greenery, inside they feel tired and dated. A little revamp and a paint job would make all the difference. I wouldn’t call it a luxury hotel that is for certain but the bed was comfy! Wasn’t impressed with the set up for the kids though. The entertainment…well it’s a mixed bag!!! We were largely unimpressed, it was unprofessional - not just the acts (several of which were toe-curlingly bad) but the staff did little to get anyone excited or involved. All very flat really. There should be a kids disco to start with! One night there was a particularly awkward section of the show where the performer refused to continue and the Zafiro entertainment staff dealt with it appallingly. It was all very cringe. The Michael Jackson act were very good! This brings me into the dedicated kids club (which is not located on the grounds) which was closed! A shame because the kids were very excited about this. We selected this hotel as it looked amazing for the kids, and overall it was ok. We had a lovely holiday but I definitely think the marketing is better than the reality here.

What a fantastic resort for kids!Nightly shows and great playgrounds. A special thank you to Mirian at reception! All the staff are wonderful and very friendly. The dinner buffet had a great selection and different everyday( please remember to tip!) I would suggest all inclusive as there’s nothing around outside the resort apart from Willies Bar that in like a time wrap back to the 80’s. We had a 1 bed appartment and the bed and air con were very good. The living room is small, couldn’t swing a cat but we didn’t use it anyway. The bathroom was renovated and had a shower for a family of 3/4. The cleaning was done to a very high standard aswell, not just in our room but through the hotel. The beach is lovely too, sad to see quite a lot of plastic rubbish on the surface of the sea. You need to go early to get sun beds and umbrella. But there are guys selling umbrellas everyday too(works out cheaper). The sun was too hot for our toddler so we stayed by the pool most days. There’s a couple of shops across the road selling the normal holiday stuff too(inflatables etc.) There were no water sports on the beach during our stay. We really had a great holiday and until next time thanks to all the staff!
