We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us at Chestnut Hill, in Pandora's Chalet, it certainly is 'a Chalet with a view' 😊 We trust you enjoyed your stay on the Gippsland Lakes, enjoying all the fresh seafoods ect. Maybe, just maybe you will return to East Gippsland one day & consider staying with us once again. You cared for Pandora's Chalet as if it were your own, Thank you for respecting our property. We had just left Melbourne and were so happy to be at Chestnut Hill. The view and the quiet were just what we needed. The breakfast provisions were very generous. We went in to Metung for dinner. This is a pretty little town. Take time to go there. At Chestnut Hill we sat on

Thank you for your comments, we are pleased to hear that you found Chestnut Hill peaceful & relaxing, it is an important aspect of any holiday accommodation. We do apologise for the discomfort you experienced with the cobwebs etc. I am sure you can understand that it is one of the difficulties with a rural setting, cobwebs are cleaned away one day only to return, within hours sometimes. The whole property has been 'sprayed' for insects etc. however nature has its way of winning out. We do provide an insect repellent in the studio for the convenience of our guests. We respect the privacy of our guests in the self contained accommodations however many of our guests wander over in the evening to have a quiet chat, we may have been at a social event in this instance therefore not getting to 'catch up'

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on your stay with us. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your time visiting East Gippsland & choosing to stay at Chestnut Hill :) We apologize for the lack of WiFi within Chesters Studio, we have attempted to rectify the problem several times without success, the difficulty is in the location of Chesters Studio to the main house however all guests are welcome into the main house to use the Free WiFi service. The telephone coverage is excellent & many travellers use their own USB WiFi equipment (dongle). We hope to see you return to visit us in the near future, don't forget to remind us on your wine preference when booking (red or white) as all our returning guests receive a complimentary bottle of locally produced wine.

We stayed in the studio cottage with its enormous spa bath that dominated the bedroom. We wondered how long it would take to fill! The cottage was well appointed and had everything you needed except the Internet. Pearl no longer does an evening meal but was well versed in the
