Thank you Marisa & Greg for a superb weekend! We loved Crescent Moon Cottage, the quiet, the peace and beautiful country surrounds. We felt very private & we enjoyed all the comforts of the Cottage. Your generous country breakfast hamper more than sufficed our 3 night stay. There was nothing to do but bask in sheer rest and tranquility!! I'd...

The whole experience was everything we wanted and more. Marisa and Greg were great hosts who had thought of everything so we didn't need to. We wanted for nothing. The additional finer touches were a pleasant surprise; beautiful roses adorned the table, cake for afternoon tea, chocolates, dessert wine, to name a few. We purchased the two dinner hampers which...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts had thought of everything to ensure our comfort. A lovely spa bath, fluffy bathrobes, hearty breakfast basket, wine and cheese upon arrival.... all delicious. We lit the wood fire and really relaxed

Ghost Hill Road was the perfect place to spend a weekend in the mountains. We stayed in the New Moon cottage - it was warm, surrounded by bush, had an open fire and was stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The owners are lovely and have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. We loved...

My wife and I have just returned from an enjoyable two night mid-week escape at the Ghost Hill Road Retreat in Bilpin. There are 3 different self-contained cabins to choose from. We stayed in The 'New Moon' Cottage, which, due to its location, is probably the most private and secluded. If 'bird song' is the only sound you want to...

Loved this cabin style accommodation for our weekend away on my first Mother's Day with our little babe. The owners are super friendly, warm and welcoming. We loved the little touches like the open fire (stocked with wood for us to enjoy both nights) the locally made cumquat dessert wine and the breakfast food in the fridge to cook up!...

We have just returned from a weekend at this idyllic mountain retreat. I love staying on this side of the mountains which is less touristy and built up, but every bit as beautiful, surrounded by peaceful bush and wonderful bird life. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the relatively new owners, Marissa and Greg, have thought of everything you...

A hop skip and a jump (1.5hours) from the craziness of Sydney is this peaceful mountain oasis. Fresh air, beaut smiles and some furry 4 legged creatures make your acquaintance when you arrive at Ghost Hill Road. Brenda is an accommodating host, nothing is ever too much bother. It's nice to go away and not to have to think of...

Fantastic experience with lovely personal service. From get get go communication was excellent, friendly and personal. The cabin was beautiful and fully stocked to make the stay a pleasant one. Breakfast, dinner, condiments. Cheese platter with fruit on arrival, music playing lights on. Videos to watch on a flat screen TV. Fireplace was cosy and there is also air-conditioning. We...

Ghost Hill is a great spot off the beaten track! The attention to detail was great to experience and we weren't wanting for anything. Even our lunch reservation was taken care of! The accommodation is comfortable and neat, having a fully-stocked fridge was a real treat and an endless supply of fire wood was well used! The cabin offered ample...

“The 'New Moon Cottage' is probably more secluded and private than the other two available cabins, due to its location.”

“The New Moon & Crescent Moon cottages are both down the hill & near the forest, while the Half Moon cottage is next to the main homestead. We like the Crescent Moon cottage, for the warm feel of the timbers on the walls & ceiling.”

“We have stayed in New Moon twice now, and its very secluded”
of 5 bubbles Cousan, May 16, 2013 | Read review
“We stayed in the Half Moon cottage, which is very close to the main house. I would book the other cottages further away for even more seclusion and privacy when we book again, however because we booked at the last minute we lucky anything was available. The Half Moon is still great though for a couple, especially with the mountain views from the verandah. It would have been great if they opened up the wall where the stairs are, so that you had uninterrupted views of the amazing surroundings. Anyway, lovely cottage, nice fireplace, comfy king bed and really clean.”
