We feel so lucky to have found this hidden gem for our last night near Calais before heading back to the UK. Lavish decor, absolutely stunning with a good eye for detail. Food and hosts wonderful including Antionette 🥰

Sorry for such a late review! The most delightful B & B, lovely individual rooms and utterly charming hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We stayed in the Swan Suite which was very well appointed with a separate entrance and it's own private garden. Lovely dinner both nights with some well recommended wines.

We stayed just one night with 2 friends and it was lovely. We stayed in the parrot room which has a gorgeous roll top bath right next to the window so you can look out over the garden. We looked at all the rooms and honestly they are all really unusual and really well designed. As there is not many places around this village we decided to have the 5 course meal. We have 2 veggies and 2 meat eaters in the group, but the hosts were great and catered for both groups. The food was really good and I think good value as well (€39 for 5 courses). Finally the hosts. They were really lovely and made us feel so welcome. They chatted with us, were funny and very friendly. They could not do enough to make sure we were happy. I really will be back! 😃

Beautiful house/interior , had a look at the bedrooms and they were all gorgeous. The host was absolutely lovely, very friendly and welcoming, he also cooked us a super dinner. Breakfast was delicious and actually too much for us to finish. My dog had a good time running around the large garden. Would absolutely recommend , and will return next time we are in France.

We have stayed here a number of times and just love the house and the peacefulness of the location. We are happy to travel an hour out of our way just to stay here. This time we met the new owners and although we are sad that Vanessa and Richard are not there any more, they could not have found better people to take over from them. We had the pleasure of being looked after mostly by Nicolas and it’s a very long time since I’ve met someone who is so very pleasant and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The whole place is sparklingly clean too. The house still retains all Vanessa’s excellent interior design as I expect the new owners have quite rightly recognised the quality and uniqueness of the place. I can see some differences in the garden and we enjoyed sitting out there. As we had just completed a long trip, we opted to have drinks on the terrace followed by the 3 course dinner which was lovely. We were also fortunate enough to have delightful dinner companions from Switzerland to share the conversation with. We didn’t have breakfast this time as we had to leave early but I saw it laid out for the other guests and it looked lovely. If you like tranquility, boutique rooms and welcoming and attentive hosts then you should definitely stay here. I can’t recommend it enough and we will be back. Wishing Nicolas and Amaury every success and sure they will achieve it. I only hope there is availability next time we want to stay!!
