We had a wonderful experience at Kimite. We (a couple) and our friend stayed there for two nights in June. There were two floors, so my husband and I had our own private space upstairs. The view was incredible, and there were tables and chairs on the balconies of both floors so that we could sit outside and have drinks. The apartment was spotless, the beds comfortable (by Greek standards), and there was a well -equpped little kitchen so that we could prepare meals. The owners were friendly and helpful, and they even called for information about a panigiri in a nearby town for us We hope to return next year. Highly recommended!

I came back to H Koimitè this year again - after the first time in 2011 - just because it is the best in Ikaria Island. The position on a rocky outcrop that dips directly into the Aegian sea is like a dream. The full view from the upper terrace of the apt n. 1 could be enough by itself to make you feel happy. The funcionality and the cleanliness are remarkable. More than anything, however, I had confirm about the kindness of the owner Dimitris, his very pretty wife and his family. Always smiling and helpfully. Thank to all of them for surprising me and my family with their daily gifts: homemade genuine cakes and the fresh vegetables picked up from the garden. They offer you a so very pleasant staying and make you feel better than at your own home. In a word: unforgettable. Kisses to μικρή Ελένη.

Our family of 13 stayed in four apartments here during the month of July. The studios are beautiful: very spacious, with lovely views of the Aegean and huge patios to accommodate us all! Our hosts were very gracious; they helped us find restaurants, gave us info about the island and even brought us special Ikarian dishes to try. Our time on Ikaria was magical, and Studios Kimite was part of that magic!

This past June my husband, my mother, my cousin and our almost 2 year old son all stayed at Kimite vacation maisonettes for 2 weeks and had a fantastic family vacation there! As you can see we were a mixture of ages and had different needs and hopes for our vacation property and truly Kimite met everyone's expectations! First and foremost Ikaria is such a beautiful Island and the perfect location for family or nature adventure type vacation. The people of the village of Armenistis are so incredibly warm and friendly and leave you with a feeling of being surrounded by one big family that loves and cares for the island itself and one another! The Kimite family is no exception! From day one Mrs.Eleni was so welcoming and warm it felt like we had been reunited with a warm relative we hadn't seen in years! We rented Studio 1 and my husband, the baby and I slept on the top floor(honeymoon suite because the view is breathtaking!) and Kimite provided us with a brand new clean baby playpen, which our son slept comfortably in night after night! While my mom and cousin slept on the main floor. Honestly the pictures on the website did not do justice to the actual size of this property! Coming from Canada and having lived in Europe before we know to expect everything in miniature and small living spaces but enough to get through a vacation. However, Our studio was anything but small! It was a beautifully built maisonettes with plenty of room for everyone and truly shocked us with how much space we got in everything. The kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast or dinner the fridge was the biggest I've ever seen in the Mediterranean lol the bathrooms were fine and still had some room to do your hair or makeup. In general a very good build for the Greek islands and the Mediterranean. But the the little touches that the whole family did day after day really made our vacation that much more special! Having a little knock at our front door meant Mrs.Eleni and the Kimite family was spoiling us with more fresh fruit!! Ohh the moura!! Or mulberries wow what a delicious fruit and what a treat to have a fresh picked basket full each morning plus lovely little island desserts that have a different style then the rest of Greece plus incredible natural ingredients as is Ikaria's way of doing everything as close to nature as possible! Our interaction with Dimitri the owner since we were booking back in Canada was always positive and polite! He always returned emails quickly and was more then helpful when we had issues sending our deposit form our bank in Canada. The money got there though no problem! Dimitri has a lovely turtle in his office which is right next to Studio 1 and his door is always open and he's always happy to have the little ones come in a see the turtle and to check on the rest of his guests and make sure they are enjoying their stay and that they have everything they need! Very well run property, absolutely beautiful views from all angles and will most definitely make for an unforgettable vacation!
