The Yurts were beautifully furnished, comfy and warm. The wood burner was very efficient and the small stove and equipment meant morning cuppa was really easy. The setting was lovely. It was quiet and the views were great. The kitchen was really well equipped and the showers very good. The new studio made an excellent place for our Yoga. Plenty...

I would thoroughly recommend staying at Hunger Hill Yurts. We were there for four days in early September and had a brilliant time. Our yurt had views right over the hills and in the mornings I would watch the sunrise through the double doors, as I lay in bed drinking tea made on the cooker in the yurt. One morning...

What a weekend, the weather, the venue and the wedding. Simply superb from the first minute to the last. Chris and Jack thanks for everything , as behind the scenes supported the big day. We returned (again!) to Hunger Hill Yurt Camp (please see my previous reviews for details on the facilities at the site - nothing has changed to the layout/set up/extremely high standards of cleanliness & so lovely to spend time with Bess the dog & new puppy, Pip!). We recruited some new yurtees to the wonderful world of yurting! They were...

So comfortable and welcoming, from the smiling welcome from Chris and Bess, to the final wave goodbye. We had everything we could want, the attention to detail, facilities and decor quietly organised so that we had nothing to do but relax and listen to the bird song. The fresh eggs were delicious, the hammocks divine. Stunning location, lovely people. Lots...

Couldn't recommend more highly! We stayed as a group of friends in the Orchard yurt which is set in its own paddock. It was perfect, everything we needed was provided and the yurt, kitchen and bathroom were spotless. There was plenty of storage space to put our food safely away in the open kitchen. We did find it a little...

Hunger hill Yurts are special and totally unique. Chris has put a lot of thought into the interior decoration of each yurt and the facilities offered. There are many additional special touches including vases or jugs of wild flowers in communal areas, hammocks to while away the time and even friendly, endearingly grunty, Kune pigs which are highly entertaining, especially...
