Santa Catalina is a funky place and most of the accommodation reflects that. If you want the best place to stay at a reasonable rate ($80-$100), then this is the best you can find in town. Right on the ocean, in front of the best surf spot in the area. Clean, good service, a cool restaurant (which is independent from... More

We , a family of 4, stayed here in July. Sergio who I believe is the owner was extremely kind and helpen us around. In the end we only stayed 1 night but would have loved to stay longer! ( the room was not availabile anymore ) the swimming pool is an absolute gem! Also free bycicles and surfboards to... More

Very nice property. We stayed in both junior suite and standard room. The only difference is the kitchenette in the junior suite, which we did not even use much. They are almost the same size. Restaurant is good ! but do not order cocktails from the bar! They are really trying to save on liqueur. Couple times they forgot to... More

Spent 2 nights here, went out to Coiba for 2 nights, and came back here for another 2 nights in July 2016. You're a bit up the hill from the 'town', but right on the lava beach for surfing (advanced) and about a 10 minute walk to the sandy (beginner/intermediate) surf beach. Property is really quite nice with its manicured... More

This hotel is SO much nicer than any of the other hotels nearby. The grounds are lovely, the rooms are large, there is a restaurant and bar onsite, and a beautiful double infinity pool overlooking the ocean. You can use paddleboards, surfboards, bikes, and other things for FREE and the rooms are extremely reasonably priced. We ended up there by... More

It's very clean, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately the whole town lost power the night we stayed there so could not enjoy the hotel as its best! Kitchen could not cook us dinner as there were no power and there were people before us waiting on food and they said it would take to long

Thanks guys for everything. Great spot, excellent support. Hotel is very nice. Food was great. Clean plenty quiet. The owners were there with the kind of oversight which completed my opinion. Santa Catalina has a nice community of surfers and fishermen. Boats are reasonable, and the area is worth a tour.

Customer service needs to improve. Food was good. I had to call house keeping for more towels. My second day there were doing drilling in the room next to me. Unacceptable. I had to call the manager..

We stayed for 4 days and it was awesome! Great food, great staff, great rooms, great location! Loved that I could check the break right out front while i sipped coffee each AM. The only bummer was the lack of swell during our trip but hey mother nature does what she wants.
