Very disappointing and dreadfully expensive. In Jan 2021 I ate dinner there. Mixed drink US$7.00. Dinner — langostinos — cost US$20 and, first, the crawfish were barely warm and, second, they were served over a cold, repeat cold, tomato and bean something. Much better and reasonable places exist. A fantastic cev8che place and Jammin’ Pizzeria, where the mixed drinks were US$3. Avoid Villa Coco is my advice.
Went with some friends for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The hotel personnel was friendly and rooms were really pretty. The rooms are located in a way you have privacy and price is good when compared to hotels near by that are not as pretty as Villa Coco. Food is really good and the chef helped us with other recommendations of trips and places to eat. Will go back for sure
Beautiful resort. Very nice and stylish villas with airco, comfortable bed, outdoor shower and patio with hammock. Great place to relax and perfect holiday vibe! Friendly staff who are trying their best to make you feel at ease :) The infinity pool feels like heaven and is a great solution for the hot weather. Breakfast is really delicious, would have loved to try the restaurant as well if it was open! All in all a great choice to stay if you’re in Santa Catalina!
My husband and two year old son just returned from 2 1/2 weeks in Santa Catalina. We chose to stay at Villa Coco based on the plentiful and postive reviews and we weren't disappointed. It was beautiful in every way and the staff were very welcoming, accomodating and attentive. For us, it was the perfect fit... quiet, clean, friendly, and relaxing. Our son was overjoyed with the pool and playground, as were we. It was a place we all could enjoy. The location is central to both the beaches and the town. The restaurant on site - Ai Mamita - had the best dinner in town. Hands down! The owners and the staff work really hard to make this place what it is: an outstanding boutique hotel in the tropics of Panama! If you are thinking about visiting Santa Catalina, I would recommend checking out Villa Cocoa.…
Probably the best place to be in Santa Catalina. The rooms are big and the private shower outside, in open air, is wonderful. Ideal place to relax at the pool after snorkeling in Coiba. The food in their restaurant is very good, dishes are top. A next time in Santa Catalina we will choose the Villa again.
