We stayed for one night in order to attend a family funeral. The staff were friendly, the food excellent with good vegetarian options and the rooms very comfortable with spotless bathrooms. As an extra the bar serves an excellent Negroi.

Excellent meal. Champagne got us off to a good start. All of us very happy with our choice of food. I recommend the calves liver which was cooked to perfection and well presented. Good atmosphere with wood burning stove. Restraunt full. I recommend it.

A most enjoyable stay at a well appointed and staffed hotel. The hospitality and service from all members of staff was spot on. Lovely bedroom with super sized bed. The log fires in the public rooms were fabulous and really added to the ambiance of the hotel.

Very enjoyable Sunday Lunch here on New Years Day. An excellent menu with generous portions. Good choice of real ale. Cheerful and attentive staff. Reasonable price for our meal. The dining area was full of old world charm almost like eating in a private house. Would not hesitate to visit again

We stayed at the Pembroke Arms in December. The room was really nice - located at the top of the hotel and breakfast was really tasty too. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the restaurant menu. Very basic for such a lovely hotel. We nipped into the village and had a nice meal at the Greyhound but it...
