This was our first visit to the area and, admittedly, I didn't realize that I had made reservations so far outside of Salisbury. But, we couldn't have been happier with our accommodation and it's location. Wilton is just lovely, and this hotel and our rooms were perfect for our family of four (we have two boys, ages 12 and 14).... More

If you’re planning to visit Salisbury, a great place to stay is the Pembroke Arms in nearby Wilton. It’s a gem of a hotel. There are only 9 bedrooms in the Georgian building, which once upon a time was a coaching inn. My wife and I spent three nights at the hotel earlier this year and we thoroughly enjoyed our... More

I booked late, trying to find somewhere between Cardiff and Southampton and ended up at the Pembroke Arms - a very happy coincidence as it turned out. I was given a lovely room - it was small, but very reasonably priced and beautifully furnished. The building itself is lovely, and on a Sunday there is an excellent bric-a-brac sale in... More

We only stayed one night. We were given a large, comfortable room, with a reasonable sized bathroom. Breakfast was very nice and we also had a tasty, good value dinner meal, with a nice wine. The dinner menu has lots of Indian-style vegetarian options too! Free Wi-Fi worked well, and free on-site parking was available. Hotel and restaurant service was... More

We stayed at the Pembroke for just one night and also enjoyed a lovely meal in the evening. A beautifully run family hotel that has everything you could wish for - just loved it! The restaurant was particularly good with lots of really good veggie options as well as excellent meat and fish dishes.

Spent two nights at the Pembroke Arms last week and had the most lovely time. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff members were all extremely pleasant and helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and I cannot complement them enough on the excellent food. I especially recommend the Whiskey and Orange Marmalade Treacle Tart for... More

Absolutely fabulous stay. Booked this hotel to be midway between relatives in Shepton mallet and the new forest/Southampton . Perfect location for us. The welcome was friendly and happy. Our room well equipped and a good size , good selection on the tea tray. Bed was very comfortable , additional pillows supplied . The breakfast was good and had plenty... More

This is a very nice place. If you have a weekend and wish to experience some of the ambience and hospitality England has to offer, try the Pembroke Arms. It is a very quaint building and physical premises, very traditional English, from the stucco walls to the traditional pub, to the gardens. Charming library. Spacious and light rooms. The food... Great review, thank you. We are very fortunate that there are so many attractions in the locality and slightly further a field we have Winchester and Bath. I am pleased that enjoyed your stay here and hope to see you again. More

Salisbury was pretty much booked up for a weekend away, but this hotel in Wilton had vacancies. The welcome was warm and staff were well-trained and very personable. The rooms and bathrooms were a good size, well appointed and well decorated. Ours was on the main road but that wasn't a problem as traffic was light. Good breakfast (try the... More

Sadly we only had one short night at the Pembroke arms but what a lovely place. The decor is impeccable, clean, fresh and little comforts offered such as fresh milk along with tea and coffee in the rooms. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area. Lovely breakfast too. Overall, great short stay, wish we had longer.
