You have veverything you'll need in those nice warm cottages. If you will need anything Ido and Alisson (the hostess) will provide immediately. They are the best hostess. It's like home away from home. The country side area is beautiful and relaxing surrounded by nice attraction.

The momment we oppened the front door our hearts were touched by the nice welcome gift left for us and all the beauty of the spotless clean cousy cottage. Everything was carefully thought of by the owners so as to make our stay... More

Comfy and spacious accommodation (5 in our party) with excellent adaptations for disabled on the ground floor. Excellent levels of equipment in the kitchen area (more than adequate for preparing our Christmas lunch). It would have been good to have a few more large plastic bowls (for salads etc...) but this is a very minor point. The owners had put... More

The owners were very friendly and helpful and it was very welcoming to find fresh flowers and cake on our arrival after a long drive. The accommodation was spacious and perfectly located on the outskirts of Salisbury. The surroundings were very peaceful and we... More

We had a lovely stay at Old Stables in June this year. We reached late at night after a long drive and we had a yummy cake waiting for us inside! It was a beautiful cottage and very well kept. Our 2-year old loved running around in the back garden. We would love to stay here again. Thank you Alison... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are absolutely delighted that you all enjoyed your stay at The Old Stables. The huge gardens are ideal, as you say, ideal for letting off steam, or just relaxing in whether you are two, twenty two or seventy two....sun screen when it's hot, wellies when it's not! We look... The cottage is situated in a courtyard amongst lovely farm buildings, which includes a handy small cheese/cake/tea shop. The location is such that it's only a 10 minute drive into town or a half hour walk down quiet footpath and lanes. We received a warm welcome with a home-made cake. The cottage is well and thoughtfully equipped, clean and comfortable. For 4... More
