My friend and I stayed here the first week in June. Season just starting in the area but lots of places open. The rooms are ample and mostly what you need to make your own meals (no oven but has microwave). Air con. Laundry room (we didn’t use) Nice pool, lovely temperature in the hot weather and very clean. Pool has loads of beds but really hard and need something soft. There were soft mattresses for 1 day but we were told they didn’t belong to the hotel so they were taken away. Disappointed with this. The only person who had one was the (somewhat arrogant) life guard and he never even used it. Place is nice and the waste land at either side didn’t spoil anything. Short walk to the beach which is lovely. About 15 minute or so walk to the town of sveti vlas which is quaint and some good restaurants. Fair few shops here too. Supermarket at the top of the road which has currency exchange. About 15 minute or so walk to the marina which is very expensive. We walked along the beach to sunny beach which was way too commercialised for us but told you can get a cheap bus if you prefer. All in all. Nice first trip here.

Sorrento Sole Mare is one of the best choices for your stay at Sveti Vlas. It's very close to the beach - less than 5 minutes walking. There is also a large supermarket and plenty of places to eat and drink around. Both Sunny Beach and the centre of Sveti Vlas are on walking distance. The swimming pool is in very good condition, too. The rooms had everything you need and were clean, bright and cosy. The staff were nice and helpful. The only disadvantage is the slow wi-fi. I'd love to stay here again on my next visit to Sveti Vlas.

This is our second year in a row staying at these apartments and we will definitely be booking again for next year. The value for money is outstanding. Really pleased with our apartment, no noise or distruptions at night, etc. Great pool with plenty of sun-beds. Location is fantastic, close to a big supermarket and only a few mins walk to the beach. 15 min to the popular restaurants, we really enjoyed Balkan, Vodopadi & Viktoria. The staff at Sorrento couldn’t be any more helpful and attentive, especially Didi who went out of her way to help us and was always so smiley & happy. No question about it - 5* from us!! :)

This apartment was everything we wanted for our stay in Bulgaria! Room was spacious and well equipped - only thing we could have found useful was a toaster! Room was cleaned every day with plenty of towels and bedding available. We stayed in a studio apartment on the ground floor. We were greeted by a lady on the reception who happily took us to our room, she spoke little English but the hotel manager was very helpful and was able to answer a few questions regarding buses from the hotel. The nearest bus stop was a short walk up the road outside the nearest supermarket. A single to Sunny Beach was 1.50 Lev (about 75p) and a single to Nessebar was 2 Lev (about £1) - recommend a visit to both of these towns! The nearest beach was a 10/15 minute walk away - beds and umbrellas could be rented for 8 Lev (about 4 pound each). Hotel pool was lovely and there was always beds available - however the pool was freezing! Probably the coldest hotel pool I've ever stayed in! Would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't mind venturing into other towns. There are nearby restaurants if you walk (about 15/20 mins) further into Sveti Vlas, however the majority of our nights we ventured out to explore Bulgaria some more! Great holiday! :)

i'm going to sound like a proper moaner here but honestly, the following is all true! my partner, son and myself have just arrived home from 10 days at this hotel. The good: well kept hotel, clean, comfortable beds, great shower, adequate amenities in the room, i.e 2 ring hotplate, fridge, microwave, kettle... The bad (for us) no music around the hotel, no bar not even for a soft drink, you had to walk across the road to get a drink in another hotel, the pool was freezing, everyone was complaining, the staff mostly were rude, apart from one young lad that was helpful. The ugly: we arrived at the hotel around 2.30 pm and was told 'heres your key passports in 15 minutes' that's all the info we got from a miserable young lady at recption, went to our room after discovering there was a lift to take us up to the 4th floor, we were pleasantly surprised by the room, modern and spacious. On the balcony there was a clothes airer a table and 2 chairs of which 1 was broken, plastic and cracked so I went to reception and asked if this could be replaced along with another chair as there were 3 guests, that was no problem at all, until we returned after a few hours and realized that my bank card and English money had been stolen (NO SAFE IN THE ROOM!) I went back to reception to tell them and was told that I must have travelled on public transport and been pick pocketed, I explained that I know the bank card and money was in the room, I didn't take it out and then i was told to call the police as only the chambermaid had been into our room.. when I asked who replaced the chair the manager decided to come up to my room and search for my bank card. she didn't find it, shrugged and walked out. the walls are paper thin, we spent 10 nights listening to the people in the next room snoring heavily all night, the people above us bouncing balls and jumping around until late, and couple arguing (or couple) from 1am onwards waking almost all of our block up, the management and staff didn't seem to care just let other holiday makers deal with it all by knocking and asking them to calm down. All in all, this hotel is great if youre looking for a totally relaxing holiday with nothing to do but sit around a freezing cold pool on a hard plastic sunbed (no cushion) with nothing to look at but few clouds in the sky and a debry surrounding it... but if you want any life at all, some soft music, soft drinks (or even a beer) and some people that like to converse or actually even be polite, then its not the place for you.
