Good location and accommodation. 1 bedroom apartment with all utilities included, pool bar and restaurant with good food. Unfortunately, the breakfast offered by monastery restaurant was a waste of money. For ~25 euro (2 adults and 1 child) you have to choose between omelette, boiled eggs, fried eggs and pancakes, one slice of tomato and 2 slices of toast bread, coffee or tea; for orange fresh you have to pay 6 leva.

Stay at apartment on the Dolce Vita complex. This is about a ten minute walk from centre of St Vlas. It is a 15 min bus ride into sunny beach and around 35 minutes from airport.
The complex is on a steep hill (maybe not good for some, but better -- as views can be seen from each apartment -- for others).
The apartment was clean and tidy. Nice kitchen area for a spot of breakfast or cup of tea etc. One bedroom, plus sofa bed. Clean bathroom, with powerful shower. Good aircon (which was needed with temps approaching 40c)
The apartments are mainly let to Russians, but a few Brits about.
NIce swimming pool, which had restuarant attached (although didn't try food here)
A supermarket is within 500metres.
Overall a good stay in good accomodations.

Accomidation very spacious and very clean but on the down side it is too far from Sunny Beach you have to take bus which was always packed full Taxis are too expensive. It is very hilly site with lots of stairs to go up or down and lots of hills to get anywhere including bus stop, pool, supermarket, and beach.

Seriously impressed with the meal tonight. Can't recommend it enough. What a lovely huge rack of honey ribs, massive lamb shank, traditional shopska salad and home made chips, ... what a night. Worked out at £15 a head including drinks. So incredible Can't fault any thing. It was superb.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, The apartment had everything you could possible need, was very comfortable and spacious. Everything was very clean and tidy. I have travelled the world and simply cannot fault this place for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
The Management team were exceptional , very responsive and friendly. They even went to the lengths to buy us coffee for the coffee machine as we could not find it on the supermarkets, and they gave us the coffee free of charge. We will definatly return.

We stayed at this hotel for a week in the summer. Most important thing is that this place is NOT suitable if you children under 13. There are hundreds of steps and everything is tiled, which becomes quite slippery at times.
The apartment was huge with a working kitchen and a large bathroom. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and as we were on the ground floor, there was a lot of noise from above which started very early in the morning most days. There were a few bits and pieces that need to be seen to by maintenance. The kettle was broken, the towel was broken, a loose electrical socket and a nail sticking out from an armchair!
The other issue we had was maid service. The maids didn't come at all until we rang to ask if we could have some clean bedding and towels. The lady on the phone was shocked and explained that we should have had the apartment cleaned every day. During our week's stay we only had our bedding and towels changed once, which is disappointing and uncomfortable on a beach holiday. There is also no access to Wi-Fi or a safe in the room, which you would expect to have in a hotel room in 2017.
The pool was beautiful with stunning views and the beach was too. Overall sveti vlas is a great resort but I would recommend staying in one of the many other properties in the town.

The apartment was very clean and spacious, ideal for our one week break. The pool was lovely and we always managed to get sunbeds. The apartment is located at the top of a hill with great views of the bay and the marina with some lovely restaurants, but you won't find a bargain here. There is a bar and restaurant by the pool and the centre of St Vlas is only a 10 min walk away, where there are bars and restaurants all reasonably priced. Their is a private mini bus that comes onto the complex that can take you to Sunny beach or Nessebar, this is slightly dearer than the local bus, which can be very busy. Sunny beach gets very busy of a night and with lots of bars and places to eat, but not really the type of place we would be in a rush to return to! Nessebar is worth a visit as it is a world heritage city with lovely views and nice restaurants. Taxis are expensive in comparison to public transport, but we managed to haggle and agree a price before you get in. It was our first trip to Bulgaria in an attempt to avoid the Euro, and we were pleasantly suprised, and would go back.

Very specious and view is stunning
We stayed for 7 days got family holiday the property itself is very specious but has serious safety issues the stair rail is too step and wide so 2-3 yrs old can get through and fall more then 5 meter down we use bedsheets to wave the rail as I had 18month old.bedroom windows can open wide not safe at all child can open it and all safely is rotten wood rail can not hold even 5 kg . The bedroom they use aluminium blinds which on the day time is very hot not even Ac is coping so in the day time room is unusable. The positive is quite great for family there a lot of children's entertainment at the cinema free shuttle to most attractions near by supermarket which is reasonable price. At the beach sun lounge and parasol cost 16 lev around £8 a day but you can get parasol in the supermarket for around £8.

We are a few days into a 2 week stay & so far so good.
The place is clean & tidy, the staff are attentive the views are spectacular over the beach & marina.
Hardly any brits it is mainly Russians & Bulgarian families.
The place is nice & quiet but in easy travel distance to Sunny Beach if that is what you want.

However accommodation was excellent kept very clean by very friendly staff. Poolside restaurant great value for money for wonderful food, again with very friendly staff....We had a fabulous 2 week's would highly recommend to all. Balkan holiday rep was great...even though we didn't need him, he was around 6 day's a week never known this of any other company.
