Getting away from it all is what you do going to the Pacific Peral Lodge. Located in Sipacate about 7 km from El Paredon you find nothing but nature and endless beaches. You arrive and take a few minutes boat trip on the canal to the lodge located right on the beach with the canal behind it. 4 rooms with fans in 2 bungalows with a bathroom each and a communal seating area accommodate up to 8 guests. The property has a very nice saltwater pool. The staff of 4 is most attentive and will prepare delicious meals upon your requests. Breakfast is included. The staff will accompany you on canoe or boat trips to see the mangroves and wildlife of the canal. Or you watch the sun rise and set from your hammock at the look out on the beach enjoying a refreshing breeze.

This place is absolutely amazing and truly one of a kind! When you arrive it feels like going to your own private island! On the beach you almost never see another person and while relaxing by the pool you totally feel like you are in your own private paradise! The staff are incredible, they will cook you anything you want, they will also take you to the nearby town of Sipacate and to El Paredon to get some cultural exposure, as well as the local salt farm which was very interesting! All in all Pacific Pearls was one of the best vacation places I've ever stayed and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone interested in a Guatemalan beach vacation!

This is the perfect place to rest, rejuvenate, and enjoy solitude, peace and personal service. Meals are cooked to order, and the beach is incredibly private and beautiful! Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Our kids loved their daily coconuts and surf lessons! The water is warm enough to swim in all day long. We were surprised by very few bugs/mosquitoes. The staff members are there to serve you, and do it well, though it would be challenging to benefit fully from this if you do not speak Spanish. No one onsite speaks English. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable. It is pretty warm at night, so the fans are a plus! Also, the showers are cool, but this is not a problem since the air is so warm.

From the moment we arrived the attention was excellent, this place is absolutely amazing, the food and service is beyond expectations. It’s like being in an island with all the comforts you can imagine. Clean and carefully decorated rooms, a beautiful salt water pool, a private beach all to yourself and even coconuts while enjoying a bonfire!! It couldn’t have been more perfect!

We were picked up by Noe from Sipacate and taken to the lodge, a short boat ride away. The lodge is set in an amazing palm tree plantation between the black sand beach on one side and the beautiful mangrove-lined river on the other. The lodge itself is beautifully built using wood and bamboo and a lot of care has gone into the design and final touches. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you need and is spacious, perfect for groups renting out the whole space. It was a joy to cook here. Noe and his brother were great, going to Sipacate to do our shopping and even buying freshly caught fish and preparing it for us to cook later. There are lots of activities you can do during your stay. For surfers the waves can be a lot of fun and there is a wide-variety of boards to rent. We also went paddle boarding at sunrise which was spectacular. A short paddle away is a wide opening in the river where different migratory birds gather in the early hours and is the perfect spot to watch the sun come up. You can also speak to the staff to enquire about other tours on offer to visit the nearby turtle feeding ground among others. Alternatively, you can just bring a good book and chill by their beautiful pool or just listen to music on their integrated sound system. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at Pacific Pearls. It is a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life and the perfect escape for couples and groups.

Beautiful location, great food, and an attentive staff that thinks of everything! So relaxing and enjoyable .... hated to leave ! Spent two days with family including a 4 year old. We had a wonderful time playing on the beach and swimming in the pool. Even had a bonfire on the beach under a full moon. The sunrise was spectacular too :)

I travel to the lodge with my girlfriend and upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff on the boat. Getting there you take a shaded boat and drive thru breathtaking landscapes contemplating the mangrooves and pelicans. The suites are clean, spacious and private. We stayed in one room and you feel very pampered by the quality and sorber design of the interiors. There is no A/C but is not needed...we slept with a fan and the breeze of the ocean. The property is abundant on palm trees and there is plenty of shade by the pool. The food at the restaurant is prime quality and reasonable prices. The menu offers assorted variaty from local ceviche to home made pizzas! Empty waves pumping in front of the property and clean beaches to enjoy in this pacific gem!

We arrived late - dark by the time we were settled in after Gabriella ( site manager) met us with boat launch - so we really didn't get to see the facility, but we could hear the waves on the pepper beach! Dinner. "what would you like?" Here's a hint. The tacos are all wonderful, the ceviche (choice of 3 types) are perfect, the chicken with creole sauce is mouth watering. We awoke to a spectacular day. Off to the pepper beach - the surf was calling. Breath taking! And not a sole insight! We're in the middle of a coconut grove - and I've found a hammock of solitude! It doesn't get better than this! There are two beach houses so you are essentially by yourself. Meals are to order on your schedule. The staff is amazing. The pool area is perfect for a lazy lie about. Beds are comfortable and clean. The plumbing fixtures are unique (bamboo). An incredible place to unwind. Caution: that pepper beach is too hot to walk on after noon without foot ware. And ... you won't want to leave this pearl on the Pacific. Enjoy your stay! Thanks to Gabriella and staff. You are terrific!
