Hotel is located in a great area and set up differently. The room was spacious and looked clean at first glance, but wasn't in the less visible places. Comfortable beds and good shower. At reception not everybody knew what the word hospitality entailed, pity, as it is the first impression. In the restaurant most staff were nice and pleasant. Breakfast was fine, quality of the dinners was OK, but nothing to write home about, a smallish bit of fish or meat, factory chips and a tiny salad.
Really Nice hotel, good service and good food. Rooms and bed were outstanding. Pool and fitness in the hotel and a volleybalsters on the location as well. A lot of things to do in the Area. Lots of parkingspace.
We stayed at this hotel for one night only for a two day training course. Where I'm normally used to the hustle and bustle of a major city, this is a peaceful and tranquil environment for getting away from it all. In every aspect of this hotel, you feel true hospitality from its staff members. Shout out especially to Lucia from the Front Desk and Robbert (the manager) for being the perfect hosts and making me feel so at home. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-maintained. The team-building facilities that they have, and which we used for a few hours are just awesome. Just imagine having you drinks and dinner next to the fire place in this authentic and cosy bar. I will be coming back.
My colleague and I have just returned from five nights staying at this hotel while we attending an event in Ermelo. Our first impression was that the hotel was quiet and peaceful and the staff we first encountered were very pleasant. After the first night that idea was lost. The swimming pool is in the centre of the complex of rooms. EVERY night at around 12.00am or 1.30am and then again at 5.30am or 6.00am a group of men decided to have a pool party with lots of shouting and jumping in an out of the pool. Despite politely telling reception about this every morning, nothing was done. We ate in the restaurant every night as we were tired and didn't want to go out to restaurants after a long day. Despite turning up before 9.00pm (usually around 8.30pm) the staff made us unwelcome with comments about the kitchen closing. We had been told it was open until 9.00pm. There was no obvious place to go to to ask for a table, only a bar with no one behind it most of the time, but when we sat down they were always upset when we did even if we went to try and find someone to see if it was alright to sit there. They were unbelievably rude to us. I have never in all my years ever encountered such astonishingly rude behaviour and appalling customer service. We were not alone. A colleague from Germany who was dining with friends had also received the same treatment as did some Americans who dared to sit in the restaurant at 9.01! If the hotel expects its guests to undertake some specific ritual in order to dine in the hotel restaurant then it would be a good idea to inform them of this when they check in. I have never encountered such an attitude in all my years of travelling. It was a shame as there was a lovely woman helping out at breakfast and two guys and a young girl in the evening who were also lovely. There was one particular older girl who was the most shocking and a girl who had only just started working there who told us they were busy and stressed (the restaurant was half empty) and we were very rude to sit at a table without their permission! This was followed by drinks being slammed down on the table and a 50 minute wait for food. On the last morning the guy who checked us out told us he had a "skin like an elephant" when it came to customers' complaining! Needless to say this is the last hotel in the world I would ever stay in again.…
Good Breakfast Friendly staff Beautiful location I loved the location. Breakfast buffet was good. Good service. Lovely atmosphere. We had beautiful weather so we spend a lot of time at the swimming pool.
