We expected a wonderful country inn..based on the advertisements...but what we found was a very outdated hotel. The room, which was called a junior suite, was decorated in 1950's USA western theme. The room was very dark and the bed was terrible. Don't stay here if you are expecting anything nicer than a 1950's western style motel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a lovely suite on the ground floor that overlooked the lawn and woods. Very quiet and felt secluded. The room was comfortable, kind of too warm though. We were staying there in the fall and the air-conditioning had been turned off. It was unseasonably warm and ac would have made our stay... More

The restaurant here is world-famous and rightly so. But the hotel is only OK. Our room was big, but we asked for a quiet upstairs room... and got the one right next to the lobby, with one wall shared with the drawing room that guests hang out in. And one of our windows faced that room, so people could look... More
