3 nights in Krasicki apartment. Grandparents with 2 small grandson ( especial award needed! :-). A new hotel in on old castle. Meticulously restore , very elegant. , marble, granite as a well as old wall all around. Several lifts, but be aware about many places requiring to walk a 2 to 3 steps ( old castle). Beautiful pool and... More

The original solution - the adaptation of the building of the Baroque and Gothic building. The hotel is located in the bishop's castle. Good place to rest and explore the region as a base. Some problems stem from the need to preserve the requirements of conservation - the complicated layout of the rooms. Service friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic experience here! The hotel is situated in a castle , tastefully furnished to high standards. Polite staff, fantastic food. There are lots of private spaces around hotel, lots of parking, pool for guests. There is spa , massage, bicycles, gondolas, gym, library and many others I had no time to explore. All high quality at reasonable... More

Beautiful object located in an old city/region (trail of Gothic architecture) that has a lot to offer. Our room was located in the 2nd floor in the baroque side of the castle, was nice, clean and functional. However to our surprise, during super warm day, this ****hotel dosen't have air condition, ventilator or even misquoter so we end up having... More

A perfect location for a relaxing holiday. However hotel is lacking leadership and fails to deal with client feedback. Front desk staff ignores feedback of non working key cards to the room. Instead they send the client back to the room with the same card three times giving instructions. At the end the lock had to be exchanged; apparently it... More

All together it is a very good hotel. Good food and a very good ambience. Nice rooms. Nice staff. But the road from Warsaw's really challenging. It is like 19 century winding road but with 21 century cars and traffic. Exiting Warsaw is so so. Later on of the 250 km it gets bad and then Worse. It takes you... More

Fantastic stay, we just came from Santorini to this hotel and we were impressed with the quality of this hotel vs what we had just experienced. Great food in the restaurants as well - we are actually going back this week as well !

The hotel is very nice. We stayed in a junior suite, which was excellent. Large room, high ceilings, bathtub with a view over a little river, marble bathroom. Food was also good. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of dishes to choose from. The only thing that brings the hotel down is the service at the restaurant. We ordered... More

Only stayed one night which simply wasn't long enough. It looks spectacular and such an interesting place to explore. The way it has been adapted to hotel standards would have taken a lot of planning. The rooms are big with smplstic but comfortable furnishings. The restaurant had a very nice buffet and breakfast was great. The pool had a lovely... More

It was my husband birthday, the Hotel didn't even bother to send Birthday card. The cleaning service is awful, needs to be called to clean, bathroom amenities were filled only once, towels never changed. Breakfast very poor, the person making eggs extremely rude. The hotel architect had strange decision to make a glass door between conference room and swimming pool.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Krasicki Hotel**** lies in the heart of Lidzbark Warmiński, a town known for ages as the Pearl of Warmia. This idyllically-located hotel lies where the Lyna and Symsarna Rivers fork, marks the historical outer ward of the seat of the Warmian Bishops - and is a most precious tangible testimony to the history of Warmia and Masuria. The style of the elegant rooms and apartments of the Gothic and Baroque section of the Hotel refer to the original aesthetics of the building's construction. Their names recall the eminent guests of Lidzbark Castle: King Leszczyński, Sigismund III Vasa, John Sigismund of Hohenzollern, Tsar Paul I... Here these historical figures gave in to the pleasures of the body and soul, admired nature, watched the sky of Warmia, drank exquisite wine, listened to concerts, discussed, read... And this is what our guests too may do today. They have at their disposal 125 rooms providing altogether accommodation for 250 visitors. The BIBLIOTEKA Cafe and ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY are unique offers. The BIBLIOTEKA Cafe's impressive book collection welcomes readers of carefully-chosen literature of the world. A book with a cup of coffee or, favoured by "the Prince of poets", hot chocolate, undoubtedly tastes exceptional in such surroundings. The astronomical observatory, open-to-visitors, which is located in the clock tower, pays tribute to the author of heliocentric theory once residing in the Castle, the eminent astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. The tower OBSERVATION DECK also allows one to fully take pleasure in the beautiful scenery of Lidzbark Warmiński and its surroundings. Famous for her outstanding beauty, Saint Catherine left in her old books recipes for preserving looks and vitality. The SPA&WELLNESS centre, located on the ground floor, gives our guests a chance to surrender to relaxing rituals, recover, and find a harmony of the body and soul. The lovers of baths can opt for a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, or gym, while enthusiasts of high temperatures can visit a sauna complex. Inspired by regional customs and always based on top quality ingredients, our cuisine combines traditional methods with advanced culinary techniques. It mirrors the character of the locality, but also draws on all parts of the world. Dressed with seasonal vegetables and fruit, it offers a pleasantly memorable experience to our guests within the interiors of the elegant RESTAURANT, CLUB HALL WITH WINE BAR and LOBBY BAR. The WOODEN BRIDGE of the Hotel over the castle moat is an inherent part of the extraordinary history; while the castle marina offers GONDOLA RIDES along the picturesque and beautifully located Lyna River. For those who like to combine rest with work, the KRASICKI Hotel has prepared a wide range of conference services (7 air-conditioned rooms with equipment and technical services). It is here, in the castle, where several great leaders and diplomats from Poland and Europe have met: Jan Dantyszek, Stanisław Hozjusz, Marcin Kromer, John Albert Vasa, Charles XII of Sweden, and Napoleon Bonaparte. In the KRASICKI Hotel tradition meets the present, as such was the nature of its host - Krasicki, an outstanding man of the Enlightenment, a poet, prose writer and essayist. With his interests and excellent style he has moved not only specialists in Polish studies but also journalists, politicians, clergy, teachers, economists, art admirers and representatives of many other professions. The KRASICKI Hotel is the heart of life and hospitality. The cultural and historical enclave is honoured to welcome you today. The rich history of Warmia, its monuments and nature, the magic of Lidzbark Warmiński with its surroundings, the gondola rides on the Lyna River or a walk down the Symsarna River valley all contribute to the charm of this outstanding residence, filling the moments spent at the KRASICKI Hotel with positive emotions. ... more   less
