The negative points: Towels are old The bathrobe smells of massage oil No hair cover for the shower Refrigerator is empty The kettle is full of tartar The coffee machine does not have its coffee shelves TV only has Polish programs TV doesn't have Netflix Breakfast is until 9:30 am while we are on vacation The spa prefers to be paid at the spa and not on the hotel bill. The apartment is cold There is no water pressure for the shower In short, all this is not worthy of a **** hotel The 2 positive points: The apartment is impeccable The staff is very professional
Our family of four, all adults, had a pleasant stay in Willa Port during last bank holiday weekend. Generally speaking, there wasn’t many things to complain about yet there were few that prevented me from giving the resort five stars, especially considering its industry rating and reputation. Pros - great guest service, friendliness and professionalism of the team across all customer interaction points, from reception team to spa assistants to cleaning staff - location and free parking - breakfast buffet- fresh, delicious, huge variety and accommodating to different diets - all necessary measures in place post-pandemic - many options of spa and wellness treatments - complimentary access to jacuzzi, sauna and swimming pool Cons - larger rooms charged at a premium rate with a front view of the lake and large terrace with a swing could have been prepared with a greater care, the glass balcony panels looked dated and dirty - Wi-Fi on 2nd floor room was poor and kept on dropping constantly - Italian restaurant downstairs, notabene with fantastic food, hosted series of live music concerts over weekend. Italo disco is not too everyone’s taste, I appreciate it, but the sound system was so powerful, that after an hour or so it became really annoying to many guests staying in lake-facing rooms. My suggestion to hotel management is notifying guests about such events Overall, I would highly recommend Willa Port for a short weekend, it is beautifully located and offers a range of facilities on site and within walking distance, just needs a little of TLC.…
We stayed here for one night. The hotel looks very nice and new and the room was great. The wellness and relax area was small but nice. The front desk staff could have been better. When we checked in, the girl was not smiling and gave us very little information. She said nothing about the breakfast, wi-fi or the relax areas so we knew nothing. The service there could be better.
It uses to be one of the best hotels in Poland, a fantastic location directly on the lakeshore in a smiling small, well-governed city of Ostróda, near the promenade with a full range of water divertissements, now, thanks to the careless management start to fall into pieces. Once booked the customer receives a mail "careful, you're probably a thief, but we'll discover your tricks and will charge you for that", then, even if you left a lot of money in your previous stays, won't receive any upgrade in a practically empty hotel. The fake Italian restaurant for almost two decades will not correct stupid errors in the menu, the bath will be full of mud in the corners, the moquette will be always and always dirtier... The swimming pool will be unguarded, and its glass wall will be so dirty that will be almost impossible to watch thru. The choice of TV channels will be very poor... But, you'll get one of the best breakfasts in four-star hotels in central Europe, you'll have a fantastic view from the balcony (if you'll get a room with!).…
The hotel itself is very pretty. It had some nice rooms it is clean and the setting itself is magnificent. The staff is pleasant although they seem a bit inexperienced. Food is ..... hmm. Breakfast is admittedly excellent.. dinner however is another story. The chef if he can be called that seems to actually hate vegetarians. Not just be apathetic or ignorant.. But right out hate. Also.. beware of the spa.. igf they offer you the slippers... refuse them. They are f..inf deathtraps. Feel down and almost broke my arm.
I had a nice corner room with a wiew over the lake. Half of the rooms have a nice lake wiew. The staff is friendly and professional. This is an Art & Business hotel and nice art can be seen all over. The hotel has two restaurants where they serve a huge variety of nice food. The Italian Taverna was my favourite. The breakfast is good as well. They have a lift at the hotel and at least my room would have been easy access for disabeled as well.
We have been there second time. Break fast are really good, but lunches are a bit poor, could be more spicy and much tasty. Unfortunately, in the corridor it was so cold that our children caught bad cold. As per discussion with receptionist, management is aware about this issue but nothing do. In the baths and sauna there is lack of any oil fragrance and ambient/chill-out music (it is on the pool but not in sauna). The rooms are really good especially these bigger ones. Location is also nice, situated at beautiful lake. Great animators, can look after your bay:) To sum up, do not recommend this hotel in winter (till April when outside temperature is around 20+ degrees of Celsius), but I do recommend during warmer period.
Booked in my wife and I , and given 2 single beds, told no double beds in this 4 star hotel....room is above the entrance from the parking lot Eventually the unhelpful receptionist/manageress finds a double bed pillow top after trying to use 2 single pillow top horizontally over the bed Told no double bed linen in this 4 star hotel , so they have to use single bed linen on the double bed Room WiFi doesn’t work was told it would be fixed at a certain time 3pm....it’s way past 3 and still no one has arrived to fix it
Best location, with AMAZING view on the lake even in foggy November, I just can imagine how spectacular it is in other season. Really well designed, with spacious rooms/ appartments, bigger ones have swings on the balconies, which I really love. There is playground room aswell, with some animations. It doesn't have the playground outside, but there is the great public one about 100 metres from the hotel. Small swimming pool, with 2 jaccuzees, the bigger one is being renovated, as I was told, nice spa with dry & wet sauna. Definitely one of the best weekends.
Came for work related matter & pleasantly surprised. Lovely large clean room & bathroom. Stunning location overlooking lake. Friendly staff some of whom speak English. The whole hotel felt generous. Pleasant cafe/ bar with outside area by the waterside. About 15 minute walk from the station. Really amazing value compared to Uk prices. Fly to Warsaw & train or Flix bus.
