The castle in Korzkiew, was built in the 14th century. It is located about 13km to the north of Kraków, and can be a bit difficult to get to if you don't speak Polish or Russian. But it's definitely worth the trip as it's a real retreat, perched on a hill surrounded by forest and a park founded in 1820, stretching in the valley between the wooded hillside and the Korzkiewka River. There is also a 17th century parish church is visible on the adjacent hill. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are several nearby dining options that the hosts can help direct you to. We stayed in the Green Room, one of the four rooms available in the renovated tower section of the castle. The castle keep is still undergoing renovations but it's large halls are suitable for various function. The grounds are kept in a lovely condition and depending on the time of year make a nice outside breakfast location.

This was the second time we visited this lovely place. This time we rented the whole "Palace" for 6 days! We were 9 persons, and once again, we had an unforgettable stay! The staff were really generous and helpful at any time, and they always did their best to satisfy our wishes. All rooms are different and unique with an historic atmosphere. Cleaning was very good. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a restaurant yet, but the breakfast was really excellent! A highlight of the day! It´s a beautiful hidden place, and this makes it even more charming and unique! Highly recommended! We´ll be back!

What a fantastic gem of a hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There staircase up was very narrow and winding, so be mindful of the luggage you take. There isn’t a restaurant but they do offer a lovely breakfast.

A bit challenge to get to, but definitely worth it. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The facilities were first class. There is some serious climbing involved to get into the rooms, but again it is worth the effort. We understood from our visits with the staff that few foreigners stay at this hotel. That is a mistake on the part of the foreigners. This is a jewel for sure.

Castle was built in 1352 by JAN SYROKOMLA who was king Casimir the great king's juge Nowadays it is an excellente hotel, only 4 suits,so you should ask for vacancy. Quiet and peaceful place furnished with antics. The staff is kind, helpful and speak several languages. There's not restaurant but full breakfast. Close to the castle is very good restaurant. We found this place marvelous, full of history, clean and confortable. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a regular room for 2 nights and the tower room for a third. The regular room was excellent with a fireplace, crazy bathroom and plenty of room. Best of all, there was no television. We were totally happy with it. The tower room proved to be a "knock your socks off" moment. The room had a circular staircase leading to a second floor with twin beds. We knew it was going to be spacious, but never expected this awesome room. The carving detail to every piece of wood in the room is magnificent. The bathroom was also great. We loved it. Special thanks to Karol (Charles) who was genuinely kind and helpful with any and all questions. It was a pleasure dealing with him and the rest of the fine staff. It reminded me of a bed and breakfast and we met some really nice people from Australia and England while enjoying their plentiful and delicious breakfast food. The surroundings are fantastic and I found the banquet halls to be beautiful and I can see why people hold their weddings here. We enjoyed a quiet 3 nights and considered this stay to be one of the best parts of our trip. Beautiful rooms, kind staff and unique historical location made this a magical stay for us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We spent one night only in this castle but it was an amazing treat. Just outside of Krakow, this medieval tower is a wonderful escape for people that would like to experience something very special. Tasteful decoration, specious, comfortable rooms with fire places and bathrooms. All clean and neat. Good breakfast with typical polish cottage cheese, hams, breads, very fresh eggs. Minus- no kitchen, so dinners might be no option. Before you book - check the possibilities. Wonderful location for the wedding or other celebrations. Great location to stay when you plan a visit to The National Park ( Ojcow)

We were a family of 8 and we stayed in three of the rooms in the tower. The restoration is admirable. The wood details, cozy fireplace, and antique furnishings are beautiful. The bathrooms are well designed to maintain the historic setting with modern comfort. The breakfast was extensive with eggs and sausages to order. We had a rental car to visit the sites in Krakow. There is no restaurant on site so we worked that into our plans. Excellent hotel.
