Detailed Reviews
The castle in Korzkiew, was built in the 14th century. It is located about 13km to the north of Kraków, and can be a bit difficult to get to if you don't speak Polish or Russian. But it's definitely worth the trip as it's a real retreat, perched on a hill surrounded by forest and a park founded in 1820, stretching in the valley between the wooded hillside and the Korzkiewka River. There is also a 17th century parish church is visible on the adjacent hill.
The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are several nearby dining options that the hosts can help direct you to.
We stayed in the Green Room, one of the four rooms available in the renovated tower section of the castle.
The castle keep is still undergoing renovations but it's large halls are suitable for various function.
The grounds are kept in a lovely condition and depending on the time of year make a nice outside breakfast location.

We stayed here with friends for two nights on their recommendation. This Castle is without doubt one of the most wonderfull places I have ever stayed in. Everything from the rooms, rest areas, castle grounds and the surrounding countryside is amazing. We had asked if they could supply us with mountain bikes and so off we went after a fantastic breakfast and cycled through Ojkow National Park - a fantastic day out. The staff are the friendliest most helpful and attentive people you could ever meet. We left our car in the castle grounds for two days whilst we stayed in Krakow and then said goodbye to them all as we headed for Zakopane. We will return to this truly magnificent place.

This is a very special place for us as this is where we got engaged. We chose the romantic package, which includes a fantastic candlelit dinner in the suite at the top of the tower. The staff were most hospitable and we highly recommend Zamek Korzkiew for a romantic break.

My parents and I stayed at Korzkiew for only one night, but it was a night to remember. From the moment we arrived in the afternoon to our departure the next morning, everything was perfect. Our room was wonderfully spacious and tastefully decorated in a classic touch. The castle was a joy to explore and every inch of it was up-kept and beautiful, from the exterior courtyard to the common rooms.
Dinner was served to us in our room and was huge and delicious. The morning continental breakfast had a great variety of options as well. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. As this place only has 4 rooms at present time, you really feel like you are in a little castle all to yourself. The owner has done a fantastic job of bringing this ruin to life, and we will most definitely be returning to Korzkiew, for more than a day next time!
Korzkiew also has the added advantage of being located close to a lot of major attractions, be it Krakow, Wieliczka Salt Mine, or Piaskowa Skala. It's a great place to stay and my family and I recommend it to everyone!

The service offered by Zamek Korzkiew and its wonderfull staff is second to none. We chose to hold our wedding at Zamek Korzkiew in August 2011 and booked the castle and all rooms for our guests. The service offered by Pani Theresa and Piotr not only on the wedding day but in the preparation made our day the most memorable and special experience. The hotel is the perfect venue for a quiet break or a fantastic party. Each room in the hotel is uniquely furnished with Oak Beams and antique furniture, the food is excellent (both the hotel breakfast and the wedding catering from the hotels select list of caterers). The venue is especially unique, but the staff made the experience wholey unforgetable.

Hands down, this is one of the greatest hotels I have ever stayed in. It is not the most luxurious, or the best-located hotel, but certainly the most memorable.
The castle (or zamek) is located ~15 miles north of central Cracow and ~20 miles from the airport. It's an easy drive into the city and well worth the added expense for a rental car. I enjoyed staying outside the city and waking up to the view of the immense forest that surrounds the property. The castle is beautiful and each room is different and wonderful. Check out the gorgeous iron work and carved wood finishes throughout the hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is absurd - my husband and I were served enough food for 6 each morning- all of it was delicious.
The hotel is very quiet - there is not much to do once the sun sets. It is the perfect place if you enjoy curling up in front of a fire. The setting reminded me of a place described in a fairy tale.

For a romantic holidayin a castle, I can't imagine a better place. Wonderfully restored rooms, excellent service and excellentEuropean style breakfast. The staff make you feel like royality they will bring wine, coffee and tea to your room. The beds were comfortable, and the fireplace was already loaded with wood. One could go out on the ramparts at any time of day. It is worth going to Krakow just to stay here.

+1
We stayed in Zamek Korzkiew for 3 nights in January, in fact we booked only two first but we liked this place so much that we prolonged one more night. We were in the Apartament Brochwicz at the top of the castle. The room has two levels and a beautiful fireplace. It's perfectly equipped and decorated. We loved the cleanliness and the attention to details. We never felt the need of TV as we enjoyed the music and the fireplace with complimentary tea. We had the Romantic package with the dinner served in the room and it was worth every zloty! The food was delicious and it was a lot. The French wine was also good!
The castle makes you feel like you're back in Middle Ages and the girls working there are very friendly, always smiling and very helpful.
Also the position of the place is great as it is very close to Cracow (10 minutes) and very well connected with the highway.
We would recommend it to everybody and for sure we will go back there again whenever we are around Cracow!

We spent a wonderful night in Korzkiew Castle outside Krakov. Our room high up in the castle tower was full of atmosphere - the wood fire in the room while it was snowing outside was magical!
Staff were helpful and attentive (well, we were the only guests staying in the hotel that night!); when I wanted directions to the historic local church, a staff member walked me all the way there. There was no dinner available at the hotel, so a staff member drove us to the local village to eat. There was, however, a generous spread for breakfast at the castle the next morning.
Overall, an unforgettable experience: great ambiance, quality staff and a gorgeous setting.

Unbelievable! We had the family room in the tower and my mother had the single room off the lounge. The service, comfort, elegance and breakfast couldn't have been better. The family room has a double bed downstairs and a beautiful wooden staircase leading to two single beds. And the price was no more than a standard family room in a normal hotel in western Europe (and a lot cheaper than in many places). All the staff were very helpful and friendly and will make complimentary teas or coffees whenever asked.

Hi, There is a regular minibus which goes to Krakow. ticket price is approx. 4 zł per person. You can also order a taxi from the Castle. The hotel reception can arrange it for you. It costs approx. 80 zł.
Best regards
