Nice place, generally we came back as we were staying there few years ago and it was kind of sentiment. Generally room was clean, some cigarettes smell spoiled atmosphere but generally ok! breakfast was also quite ok. Problem I had was only payment as they charged my card twice, but finally they managed to unscrew the situation in the bank, some issue with invoice and corrections, but in total we were happy to be there one more time.
Good hotel, in a silent area (even if not easy to reach), with a friendly, kind and helpful staff. We had a nice room with good wifi. The room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. Very good value for money.
Just 2 words sums up this Hotel Mean and Miserable. I was booked in for 2 weeks i asked for a slightly better room and continually fobbed off by miserable Reception staff, Housekeeping only seemed to go into the bathroom when they felt like it, so wet towels never got changed and Shampoo never replenished. They saw that i used 2 lots of tea bags so now only provide 1, and no bottle of water everyday 1 bottle for 2 weeks. so its 1 of everything. Mean with miserable staff just about sums this place up.
Excellent hotel !! Cleaning rooms, comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom !! Friendly stuff best price and very warm hospitality!!! We stay two times so far and it so amazing hotel and beautiful place to stay!!!
I stayed here for 5 weeks and really enjoyed my stay. The staff at both reception and the restaurant are really friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a terrific menu and a nice bar to wind down at after a busy day. Rooms are comfortable and kept clean. Located close to shops and only a short drive to Katowice, I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
This is my regular hotel when I come here! It's a beautiful, and full of helpfull people place.. Here you can enjoy of a really nice view and best services in zone. All my family like it! Good choice quality/money!
I've been staying at this hotel for seven years now. Every time I'm in Katowice this is my regular hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is a small bar and lounge, as well as a restaurant on the first floor. There is a complimentary breakfast buffet every morning and the restaurant food is decent. My only complaints: 1: The wifi isn't the best just passable. 2: The heat is via old style radiator. When it's cold outside, it doesn't get warm enough for me in the room. All in all, this is a great hotel and I will continue to stay here when I'm in town.
Loved the place felt cozzy and enjoyed the stay. My family loved it too and we loved the view in every corner of the hotel. The staff were communicating in English and they were nice, helpful, and very professional. Its a nice place to be.
Well, what a great hotel! For context, I led a group of 21 students to Poland to attend a video game related event that lasted all weekend in Katowice. Originally we were going to stay at the Angelo hotel in Katowice city centre but when it came to booking it was sold out. The next best rated hotel was here and well, we were really surprised at the prices. Approximately £800 for 4 nights for 21 people?! You'll never find anywhere that cheap in the UK so we were quite blown away by the offer! We snatched it up despite our concerns at the distance from Katowice city centre. From then onwards our service has been exemplary. Every email was replied to within a couple of hours (literally) and the staff were very friendly. My bank blocked my payment at first but the hotel were more than happy to wait for that to be resolved before requesting payment again. They even arranged for a transfer from the airport for us in the form of 6 taxis - much appreciated considering we didn't speak the language! They AGAIN arranged more transport for us to get to Auschwitz (approx. 90m away by coach) for 600 PLN (around £110). To top that off, they arranged a return transfer too. The two girls who dealt with us over the four days were fantastic and I cannot give them enough praise. Always smiley, always helpful. The hotel itself. Considering the low price we weren't expecting anything amazing - but I could see a hotel like this charging at LEAST four times the price in the UK, if not more. The rooms were nice and clean upon arrival and cleaners were available every day. We opted not to have the cleaners due to 12 laptops going missing on our first day there. I was going to discuss this later but may as well here - there's very little CCTV in the hotel. The event we attended was an all-day affair (10am-11pm) so somehow someone managed to steal 12 laptops from the rooms of a pro-gaming team staying at the hotel. I was really worried about the security of the hotel for this reason but aside from that, all fine. We didn't use the restaurant or jacuzzi but the bar was nice. Would have been cool if it stayed open later especially given the high volume of bookings that weekend but never mind. So.. Yeah :-) Gorgeous hotel, especially for the price, friendly and smiley staff, great travel links to Katowice (once an hour on weekends, twice an hour on weekdays 30s from the hotel), supermarket just behind the bus stop, nice and quiet area.. What more could you ask for?…
It's a pleasant hotel in a quiet spot. The room decor I find too traditional (meaning: boring) but the staff are nice and flexible. Breakfast offered a wide choice. Apart from regular continental food, you can find some home-made bits'n'bobs. Recommended!
