You won t find a computer station here or a gym. And the rooms don t have tv or even the phone. This is not your businessman type hotel here. The place is designed to have you diconnect and, preferably, in the company of your girlfriend. The place is very romantic, cozy rooms, beautiful gardens and a waterfall, old fashion... More

Hi there, We're really glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Thanks for your really nice feedback ! It is kind of our motto to allow people to really disconnect when having a stay with us ! Therefore, there is still a free wifi connexion for people who like to disconnect in our Auberge... while having little news from the... More

We stayed in a lovely room with loft beds and beautifully modern bathroom. As someone with extreme food allergies, our hosts went above and beyond to not only accommodate them, but to make sure my meals were as delicious and beautiful as the ones ordered right off the menu. My mother enjoyed the walking paths and we all enjoyed the... More

This is a very high end country inn - a getaway to a beautiful setting with excellent service and beautiful rooms. It is very expensive and intended as a quiet peaceful place to relax. The grounds are beautiful with lovely gardens, walks, a stream with waterfall and places to sit outside. It is quite isolated and seems to be far... More

Thank you very much for your comment ! Just so you know, it is true that off season, a little less of our staff speaks a fluent english. An authentic feeling of Québec's countryside in winter ! :) On summertime (which is our busiest time), most of our staff is bilingual, so english speakers can interact with them a little... More

After discovering that l Auberge des Glacis was Quebec Tourism first prize for 2014 ,we stopped for a night . A beautifull setting . We were given a recently decorated room ,quite small, no telephone and no television set ,it might be some vacationer 's choice but I expect all comforts in my room when I pay the same price... Thank you very much for your review ! We are really happy that you liked your meal so much ! Concerning our television and phone sets, this is a choice we made a few years ago, so people that come to our auberge feel far away from home and busyness. However, the suite Belvédère and our solarium both have televisions.... More

We were on our way from Vermont to the Saguenay and Gaspe. This was our expensive stop (we are so called budget travelers). We could not afford the elegant dining room, but reveled in the lovely setting and the comfortable rooms. This is French speaking Quebec and we speak only English so we had little interaction with staff. But, after... More

My husband and I were there for a weekend. This is an old Quebecois mill beside a pristine water stream coming down the mountains It has 16 rooms beautifully renovated with dozens of charming walking paths around the inn leading to either a small lake, farmer fields or small lookout on the St-Lawrence river. The inn is a place to... More
