We booked the Hotel Residenz Immenhof to host some business associates for two days of meetings. We have an apartment in town, but needed a place to both host our associates from Norway, Croatia and Canada for business meetings. The hotel was very accommodating, and our guests were very comfortable. Because the meetings started later than expected, the hotel was...

We had visited this hotel before and knew it was good, the chef's seasonal menu was well chosen and the headwaiter, Herr Kunz, was on top form. Interestingly, this time of year (mid March) is known as "Mandelbluten", or almond blossom. The ends of the rows of vines are marked by almond trees and the blossom makes an excellent show....

I found this hotel by accident since all the usual hotels I use in Karlsruhe and Neustadt/Weinstrasse were booked out. If you want to escape the usual business type setup of other hotels this is a good choice. What I liked + Large rooms with extra space and balcony (I had room number 7 and loved it) + Extra seating...

Travelling north from Italy recently we decided to visit the Immenhof, having been very impressed on previous visits. On arrival, we found that the hotel had undergone an upgrade. Improvements to the restaurant, bar area, some of the rooms and a lift had been fitted, (so the reviewer who was grumbling about the absence of a lift can grumble no...

This year (2013) returning from Italy we decided to visit the Immenhof for a few days. This visit happened to coincide with my birthday. The staff, probably from my passport, noted this and for both breakfast and dinner laid on a specially decorated table, complimentary sekt and a card from the management. Very, very well done.

I've been on this hotel for a week for the second time. I didn't remember anymore that I was there a few years ago. It's in fact a great hotel in the area. With a wonderfull restaurant and nice food. The breakfast is also of high quality. The hotel is very great in general, just they need to work a...

We called in the Immenhof some years ago whilst passing through the Rhineland and have visited several times since. We found the hotel comfortable, the staff pleasant and attentive and the chef a master. Lack of a lift is a fag, but we travel light so it is not such a problem for us. The area is delightful, surrounded by...

The Immenhof is a comfortable hotel with friendly and obliging staff, situated near the centre of this beautiful small palatian village. Luckily we got one of the modernized rooms situated on the ground level towards the garden. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom really chic. There was a balcony with view into garden, too. The breakfast...

I would suggest to re-name this hotel to "Pretentious-Hof". It does not stand up towards the general description of a 4-star hotel. We booked a double-room for 2 adults and 1 teenage kid. For what was called an extra bed we paid happily about a third more for the room. However, the so called extra bed turned out to be...

The Residenz is a friendly and comfortable hotel situated in a quiet corner of Maikammer and an ideal spot for a walking or cycling tour of the surrounding villages and vineyards. Many of the rooms have been or are being updated but we stayed in an un-modernised room which nonetheless was spotlessly clean and of a very decent size with...
