Spent 10 days at this beautiful hotel, it's immaculately clean, looks amazing, fab pool area, a very relaxed vibe and the rooms are unique with really comfortable beds. We had a gorgeous balcony with stunning views particularly of the sunset. We had breakfast included and it was one of the best buffet breakfasts we have had, plenty to choose from and run very efficiently by the excellent and friendly staff. The location is good in a quite area with plenty of restaurants nearby and just a short bus or taxi ride away from Los Gigantes where there is a bigger selection of bars with live music. My only criticism is the lack of storage space in the room, there's no wardrobe as such just a small open space with a few hangers and two small drawers so most of our clothes where on view making the room look untidy. During the 10 days our room was cleaned three times and fresh towels supplied and the sheets changed once which we felt was sufficient, though I was little annoyed to be lectured to when I asked to change my pool towels after a week. As previous reviews have said you can get a bed around the pool at any time of the day. Though the management appears to be marketing the hotel towards the younger generation the majority of the clientele where over 30, we are in our 60s and where definitely not the oldest there. We loved our stay in the Sholeo Lodges definitely has a different feel to other hotels we have stayed in and we will go back soon.

Hotel is lovely, rooms are nice and clean, lovely shower with good pressure and temperature. Air con is good and comes with TV with Netflix and free WiFi. Only thing missing was a kettle. Pool is also very clean, no rush for sunbeds, and poolside bar serves drinks such as iced coffee. Staff all very helpful, a big thank you to Wilmur for organising the dolphin excursion for us. We paid for breakfast only, the breakfast was okay, food is tasty but a bit limited, for example bacon and eggs but no sausages or beans. Also bought dinner a couple of times, 3 courses for 14.95 is very good value although lots of restaurants that we preferred. Hotel is in a good location, around 5 minutes to a lovely black sand beach and lots of restaurants, two small convenience stores, as well as a bus running to multiple bigger locations. Overall a great stay.

Structure recently refurbished. Excellent position. Nice swimming pool, there is space to play five-a-side football or basketball. There is a table tennis, a billiard table and a table football table. It also has a small gym. Very nice restaurant area, overlooking the pool and ocean. Friendly and welcoming staff. Pretty good food. A few meters away there is a supermarket and clubs, as well as the Playa Arena beach. Negativity: -cleanliness: upon arrival the room was not perfectly clean, you could feel the sand on the floor and there was no soap in the shower. -they are very strict during dinner: you can take a starter or vegetables, a first course, a second course and a dessert. (You can't go back to the buffet and there is little variety in the dishes). You are also obliged to get a drink at the bar, you cannot bring water from outside. You can still ask for extras but for a fee. -there is no hairdryer (I had read the reviews so I brought it from home). -they didn't have extra pillows available. -parking difficult to find adjacent to the structure especially after 5pm. -by booking through Booking we were entitled to only one room cleaning service during the week, luckily we could still ask for clean towels every day.

Great accommodation if you want to do absolutely nothing. Plenty of sun beds nice pool area and well stocked reasonably priced bar which stopped serving at 23.30.. Breakfast was 7.5 euros each . Reasonable choice but very congested at food area which wasn’t a nice experience. Lots of areas away from the pool ( rooftop and gardens)to sunbathe or lounge around. Drinking water taps available outside gym and chill out garden. If you need to buy a bottle there are non insulation ones from reception for 10 euros( I bought one thinking it was insulated)Room was cleaned twice in a week and towels changed so that was ok and no disturbances from housekeeping but bed linen not changed and in hot weather I think that’s not acceptable. There was a fridge but nothing else . We brought a kettle and cups. There are a few restaurants nearby. Some were shut as local businesses seem to close between mid may to start of July but enough to not go hungry. Sports shown in legends bar- about 5 minute walk away and very pleasant singer most nights .. singing in French Spanish and English depending on audience requests. Martini just a few minutes away pleasant to eat and watch sun setting over the water. Good local bus to los Gigantes( about 15 mins away) Adeje, about an hour, and los Cristianos( 1hour 15 mins).Overall pleasant stay but location too quiet for me.

1. Staff are very good and work very hard. 2. Views are good. 3. Food...Taste good but not many choices, not hot not even warm. At 8pm, only 1 dessert left! Not all dishes have clear label to tell you what they are 4. Please bear in mind, you will need to use a tray to get your food and drink, like a school canteen. When you finish, you need to empty the plates and put the used plates, bowls, utensils and tray into the service station. 5. In general, the hotel is clean.
In conclusion....I don't understand why peoples comments are so positive about this hotel. If you are looking for a hotel to relax, chill and stress free, this is not the one. The hotel itself is OK but for food..... Please reconsider....Also there are not many restaurants nearby to choose....

We stayed here for 2 nights and I was very impressed! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the cleanliness was spotless, and the rooms spacious with TV, toiletries, towels and a big sunny balcony with spectacular sea views. The swimming pool is climitized which means it doesn't get too cold in colder months, super looked after. The hotel has remote working areas which is essential when you have to work. The rooftop has fantastic views that you can see from the jacuzzi, the hammock or one of those huge puffs.
Food and drinksThey have a breakfast buffet that includes bakery variety, coffee and juice, bacon, eggs, toasts, cakes, avocado, fruit, all very nice and you can refill as you need! They also have free water! This is important in an island where tap water is not the best

The buffet area is very small so you usually queue long especially at breakfast. At dinner very little variety and the worst is that it was all cold and not very good, for example super hard and dry chicken breasts... and WORST of all and that I had never happened to have to pick up your dishes, and waste... as in the typical fast food places that you go with your tray to throw it, that in a hotel I find terrible. The rooms clean them every 3 days "for ecological theme" and I think a slut... especially for the bathroom, if you neglect you run out of gel and without toilet paper, the area is quiet but too... there are hardly restaurants or cafeterias let alone a sad ice cream parlor!!! The staff weren't fu or fa, there's a few pretty nasty in the dining room, it seems like they're doing you a favor when you're the one doing their job... I wouldn't come back for those aspects of dining, food and cleaning

We went for 7 nights. Lovely hotel. Very clean, modern and well maintained. The rooms are a good size for 3 people. Plenty of storage space and a comfy double sofa bed. Netflix was free. Very chilled atmosphere around the fabulous pool area, no plonkers reserving sun beds, there’s no need there were always plenty. We were half board, the food was very good and healthy and if you opted to buy a snack at lunch the quality was great. Beer was 3 euros, soft drinks 2 euros I think. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we had an issue with the electricity which was fixed in 5 minutes. I didn’t give 5 stars for a couple of reasons. I would have liked a kettle in the room, the shower tray wasn’t deep enough so water overflowed onto the bathroom floor after every shower, the rooms are not very well soundproofed so you could here plumbing, flushing, walking and mating noises from adjacent apartments. Our transfer to the airport on the journey home was at 15:50, checkout was 12:00, I was able to keep our room until 15:00 for only 15 euros, I was very pleased with that! There’s not much to do around the hotel, a few tacky shops as you’d expect and a couple of bars. The small beach is nice but very crowded, the supermarkets are very good. We went to Siam Waterpark at night, got a taxi from the hotel, tremendous experience, do not go in the day, too busy!! At night there are pretty much no queues, there’s music, fireworks, laser shows etc. All in all a great break for me and my two teenage daughters.

I give it 5 stars simply for the fact that they let you leave the room the day you leave at 12 in the morning, this is unthinkable in hotels today in Tenerife that are already kicking you out at 10. Apart from this, this complex is completely renovated and it shows. Very clean, heated pool and very pleasant for swimming. The staff is very very friendly, the breakfast is very complete and the prices of drinks and meals are very affordable for the area in which it is located. It has a gym and area to work on the computer, area to refill your water bottles, various games...

We got the bus from the airport to the bus station in Las Americas. We then walked 10 minutes to San Eugenio where we had a couple of drinks. We then decided to get a taxi to the hotel at a cost of €40.
There are more places to choose from in the Playa de la Arena area.
