A great hotel, lovely large rooms, and superb friendly hardworking staff, we did have 1 issue with our room halfway during our 10 night stay but the reception quickly moved us to an upgraded room. It's situated on a beautiful picturesque beach, and as it's...More

Though all the rooms are good, sea view rooms shall give you best of both worlds, rainforest on one side and sea on the other. We got the upgrade without paying extra as some work was going on at rainforest chalets and it was noisy. Your package usually does not include breakfast but I strongly suggest to add breakfast as the hotel is too far from any other restaurants and the breakfast is lavish with lots of varieties. Weather is fairly hot in the afternoon and pleasant in morning evenings. Expect rainfalls though light, every now and then. Hotel provides the umbrellas though.

Hello...yes we hired a car a couple of times. It's a very easy process, done from the front desk. Hiring is in blocks of 24 hours, I think it was about $50-60 for us, between two couples. We took it in the mid afternoon, so we could get to eateries and the town that same night, which still gave us enough time to head back to the shops or go for a drive the next morning. Just show your driver's licence. Easy as. Driving is easy and you can get around quite well.

"There was building work close to the centre of the hotel. Unless you are in a group, avoid the pool suites."
