This “house” exceeded my expectations. If they have availability and it is in your budget, search no more. Absolutely perfect for families (prefer the ground floor apartments to avoid any stairs), you may enter into the sea by doing literally five steps outside the huge green garden with natural pine shadow! The apartment itself is FULLY equipped, spacious, decorated with great taste, impeccably clean (something also extremely important when you have a baby and a toddler). The owners are always available for info or requests and there are also canoes and a sea bicycle free of charge to use during your stay. There is also a nice playground. There are a set of umbrella and sun-beds and the beach, private of the property and reserved for each apartment. The only problem is that you should use the car to go anywhere to eat or drink, but if you are willing to fully enjoy the property during your stay, you may buy things from the local supermarket and fill the big fridge,or grill something in the barbecue and stay there as much as you can ;) This is absolutely recommended to all my friends who have families,so I wanted to share this recommendation with you, too.

This resort is by far the best place I have spent holidays with small kids.
It has everything you need:
1. The location is excellent, beachfront in Lagonisi, so no need to worry about car, roads, etc. Plus the amazing crystal waters are shallow, which allows you to relax with small kids. You just have the garden between the resort an the beach which also provides a great view from all the apartments.
2. This side of the beach is quiet as it's at the northern end which is great, and if you need lunch or coffee etc, you just can walk south a few meters to a pretty good beach bar.
3. Perfect location to explore the area, very close to Vourvourou, Nikiti, Ormos Panagias, Agios Nikolaos, etc so you can explore other beaches, restaurants, ice-cream shops etc in beautiful Sithonia - all within 15/20 mins drive. There is parking space at the resort for you.
4. They provide you with everything you need for kids: private permanent umbrellas and sunbeds, kayak, paddle board, sand toys... even playground and tennis/basketball court.
5. Rooms are great, very spacious, fully equipped, even with dishwasher which is not that normal
6. And last but not least, the family who run the property are very very kind and do their best to make sure you make the most out of your stay. We had family and friends spending time with us several days and they were very welcomed, no problems whatsoever.

In summary, best place to stay with kids in Sithonia, in fact we've already booked a room for summer 2023!

A unique place in Halkidiki, if not in Greece. The apartments are spacious and well equiped, with anything a family might need. The beach is literally a few steps away, with permanent shadow and umbrellas. There is plenty of space for children to play safely and easy access to great restaurants in the area. Overall highly recommended.

Think "Greece", think "Greek islands". Start a search from scratch on the net and all you'll get are the islands. Search for cheap flights and all you'll get are the islands.

If you're very patient and willing to tear yourself away from the conformity of the Greek islands, then you may be lucky enough to end up staying in the 3-fingered peninsula that is Halkidiki.

Of the three, the middle one - Sithonia - is the quietest and hence the most difficult one to get any information about. Once you do, you have to trawl through 1970s photos of big-haired families playing table tennis (how will that draw me to your hotel??) and multiple beaches where the sand is not so fine and where the beach is not so nice.

After many long days of searches, we took a punt on Lagonisi Beach Resort mainly because the beach looked more sandy than shingle.

Great things:

- the beach. It's basically your own private SANDY beach which is at the end of the 20m garden. None of this "3 minutes walk to the beach" malarkey, this place IS the beach! There is an uninhabited island 600m out and Lagonisi has its own pedalo and kayaks for free.

The water is that crystal clear see for 30m underwater type and is gorgeous.

George cleans the beach and water in front of the hotel every day.

- the BBQ which is free to use by any guests

- the size: I think only 16 rooms in total

- the welcome and service: we arrived late - 9.30pm - and were staying odd days - arriving Wednesday and departing Monday -and none of this posed a problem.

- the idyllic quietness of the setting

- the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms: we had a one bedroom first floor 50 sq metre apartment with huge terrace where we ate out morning and night overlooking the garden, beach and bay. Uninterrupted natural beauty.

- the modernity: the garden was landscaped 2010 and the whole place is modern from the electric security gates on the drive (George gives you a remote control to keep in your car to open and close them), to the tennis court, to the communal seating area - though thankfully it's not one of those places where there is any pressure to mingle.

- made it to Thessaloniki airport in 1h10 mins

Not-So-Great

- you have to drive everywhere as it's just that little bit too far away from the closest village to walk

- the shops and restaurants in Greece are EXPENSIVE!!! 20 Euros for a kilo of fish at the market, 40 Euros for the same thing in a restaurant

We were recommended this place by friends and we had some idea what to expect, but the overall arrangement overpassed our expectations.

To start with - the place is easy to find even without GPS. Closed parking is a great benefit, and it is completely shaded - so whenever you want to jump into a car and leave somewhere it will be pleasant!

We traveled with a 8mo baby and a 4yr boy and three adults. we fitted very comfortably into a 80m appartment on top 2nd floor which offers the magnificent view, even though it was somewhat tiring with baby strollers going up or down I personally would not change the view and privacy for this. As a solution we did not engage the strollers that often.

We checked the other bigger appartments and found them to be too big for us.
The appartments have everything you can imagine even a Nescafe blender and a dishwasher.
Large livingroom and a great terrace.
The terrace is greatly postitioned outside kitchen window, so you can hand everything you need just through the window - without opening or closing the terrace door, and going through the appartment- yeah we were lazy :)
The owners provided us with a nice babycot and and a baby high chair for feeding which was very comfortable.
Also, they were very helpful for all our requests and needs.
The baby enjoyed the view on the garden and the sea during the noon hours.
You get some sun in the morning but all appartments are fitted with adjustable shade so we made it as pleasant as we wanted.
The sunrise is a magic moment when a baby wakes around 6am, or if you are a morning person anyway you can have a great beach walk and enjoy the warm sunrise on the beach.
We enjoyed evening walks on the beach, also.

The furniture in rooms is very nice and cozy, and makes you feel comfortable.

The grass in front is green and well maintained and soft, so children can walk and play in the afternoon.
On the back side of the house is the table tennis, children playground, and a tennis and basketball court which we used occasionally.
The beach is a story for itself - nice and soft sand, the owners are maintaining it and cleaning it well daily. The umbrellas are large size and do not let sun through, together with comfortable sunbeds.
The sea was so clear and warm that we stayed for several hours in the water together with kids, especially the nice sandy part on the left side of the beach. It is a long shallow so you can have more peace of mind. If you wish to go snorkeling which I very much enjoyed - there are nice sites to the left and right from the beach. A lot of shells to find.
Paddlleboat and kayaks are available, and our son loved riding, we went throughout the whole bay, and around the island in front of the resort.
What I planned but did not manage to do is to get a kayak in the sunrise and go for the ride on silk smooth sea.

The owner family is very pleasant and friendly and they do everything possible to make you comfortable and happy, which was a very important thing for us.

We know where we will spend our vacation next year, and year after that, and after that...

I ve stayed there for a weekend during August .The place is right at the sea front and has a small green field for kids to play. If you are lucky you will get some quite hours. After kids wake up , just forget it.

Its supposed to be for families and for couples. But couples cant rest with the noise from the kids, and families are just running after them all the time so that their kids will not go into the sea.

During afternoon they put some fire torches at the small green field to make a relaxing atmosphere so you will see the sun fall in a romantic way. Though kids are running round the fire torches !! This place is dangerous from my perspective and really noisy.

Finally i would say that All rooms are look alike and If you don't have a 3rd floor room the people outside can see all your moves and of course can watch you change clothes etc etc. The curtains for this reason are heavy and dark and not at all for summer time. They don't leave the breeze to enter. This produces a rather unpleasant atmosphere inside the room.

I read all the other comments and find them really odd to tell you the truth. Maybe I am the weird one and i am looking for too much.

This Tripadvisor member has written a review for another accommodation facility (NOT Lagonisi Beach Resort) and mistakenly posted it on OUR review page. 1) We have NEVER had a guest for just a two day stay. Check our web page. Minimum stay is one week. 2) We have NEVER lit fires/torches in our garden, not in the afternoon, not at night, NEVER. It is against our policy. 3) You cannot see the sun set from our property. Only the sunrise. It is a different orientation. 4) We do not have a small green field for kids to play. We have a large playground located away from the apartmens, so that guests are not disturbed at any time of the day. 5) All our apartments offer very much privacy, this why our guests visit us. You CAN NOT see into our apartments from our garden, even if you try to. 6) We do not have a 3rd floor apartment (not rooms as this reviewer claims). We are only a two (2) floor building. I would appreciate if GeorgeGem confirms the above and withdraws his review from our review page. Thank you in advance. George Triantafyllidis Lagonisi Beach Resort Owner.

This is our second stay at Lagonisi Beach Resort. The apartments are nice and cozy with all the amenities (big fridge is a big plus). The villa is right on the beach. You walk out of the yard straight on the sandy beach and shallow crystal clear waters.
The property is located at the north end of the Lagonisi Beach with sun beds and umbrellas provided for villa guests. There are also a couple of kayaks, a pedal boat and snorkeling gear for the use of the guests.
A few years back the southern part of the beach started to become more and more crowded after a beach bar was built which offers refreshments, umbrellas and sunbeds for rent.
The property is cared by three brothers with their families. We met George with Nadia and Yannis with Nikki with their families and they are wonderful people. If you need any information related to area (restaurants, food markets) the hosts are always there offering advice and help.
The villa also has a terrace and a barbecue place where you can grill/eat your own food and hang out with people if you are a larger group.
I would recommended the place for family vacations or group of friends, away from the noise and buzz of the crowded places.
So if you like a quiet and relaxing holiday with your family, this is the place to be.

We booked our stay between 30.08-09.09 but unfortunately we had to leave in the fourth day because our little girls got sick, with fever and above all, the weather turned awful, with rain and thunderstorms.
Anyway, we enjoyed our stay and regret the fact we had such a bad luck with the weather.
We were 3 adults, two little girls in the 100sqm apartment.

Here's my opinion, feelings and suggestions about this place:

PROs
-perfect location

-great beach, nice sand, perfect sea for kids (warm, shallow, cristal clear)

-the front yard

-the fact that the apartments have a limit regarding the people that can accomodate inside.

-The water bycicle, canoes

-The sound of the waves from everywhere

-George,his wife and his little daughter Eleftheria

CONs (and suggestions for the owners)

-bees everywhere(even in the sand) and mosquitos

-zero soundproofed building (very noisy from inside as you could hear every single noise from all of the other apartments)

-bad pillows and limited lenght matresses

-The front door should have a bug net also

-the doors and windows squek and make terrible noise, please do something about that!!

-The kids playground (the toys are old, and not well space organized, and i think grass on the ground would look and feel better)

-bad wifi, there should be a
router in every apartment, or at least on the building and on the beach, not only on the communal terrace.

-The terraces both downstairs and the balconnies should be private.Try to separate them with some flowers or something else so that the guests can have a more private and relaxed atmosphere.

We enjoyed the sea,the beach, the restaurants from Ormos Panagias and the town of Nikiti, perfect for evening strolls and dinner.

Too bad we had bad luck about the weather and our girls got sick.

The whole family loved this amazing place! The flats have the nicest view ever, you never get tired of it, and it's so lovely to be on the beach! The water is perfect for children, and nobody gets bored as there is a sea kayak and a pedalo...
The best thing though is the relaxed and friendly atmosphere created by Triantafillidis family, making you feel comfortable the moment you arrive and all the way through. They can even make the fisherman come to the hotel so that you can chose the best fresh fish to cook on the barbecue :)
Impossible not to love this place, and especially so with children!
