We went for our honeymoon last month and couldn't have been happier! The scuba diving is well set up - only a 5-20 min boat ride out so you can spend the rest of the day on the beach or by the pool. The beach is wonderful (and the bar is close). But it's the staff that makes the experience truly excellent. From the butlers who booked us the best restaurants to the landscaping manager that gave me fresh aloe for my sunburn, everyone was truly great. Special shoutout to Wavel for letting me beat him in ping pong before going home ;)

We recently spent 10 days at Sandals Grenada on our honeymoon. Wow - the staff is truly incredible! The service was out of this world - every person we encountered just seemed to genuinely love their job. The location is so beautiful it’s like a postcard came to life. The food, the entertainment - everything was top notch. We stayed in a butler suite - totally worth the money! The only downfall.. we ended up spending a ton of money on professional pictures because they caught so many amazing moments on camera and we just had to have all of the photos lol!

All good things come to an end yet our experience at Sandal’s Grenada will stay with us in our hearts forever. There is a special and unique atmosphere in Grenada. I struggled to find worthy words to describe our experience. Then, inspiration and a little help from a wise man brought the perfect words together…intimate authentic Grenadian vibe. There are so many wonderful people at Sandals Grenada that made our vacation exceptional. I will do my best not to forget too many names but I am only human, unlike our butlers whom all have superpowers. Great praise goes out to our terrific trio of butlers, Randall, Kirt and Hassan. They are a perfectly complimented team of excellence. Randal met us with a smile the moment we arrived on resort. How anyone can smile while standing in direct sunlight wearing a mask, three-piece suit and gloves is beyond me. First impressions are powerful and I knew in that moment we were in great hands. Our butlers made our visit very special with their personal touches and wonderful personalities. They went out of their way to ensure everything our happiness through our stay. They took care of everything for us so our only objective was to relax and have fun. Each of our butlers were wonderful and brought something special to the team. Randall might be able to read minds because there were many times he took care of us before we even asked. Kirt has a unique ability to make you feel like honored guests and family at the same time. Hasson radiates joy all the time. It is not possible to speak to him and not smile yourself. We truly enjoyed the moments we had to get to know them all.
 We’ve been diving for about a year and we were so excited to dive in Grenada. AnnMarie, at the dive shop, was great even when she had to tell us a dive was booked. She secured our spots for the remaining two days we wanted and then made our day when she called to tell us there were spots available. Our dive masters James and Adrian guided us through amazing reefs and wrecks, while Cameron and Neil ensured our safe transport on the Vitamin Sea. AND…we spotted our 1st shark, incredible! We enjoyed many delicious meals with great service throughout our stay. Everyone was amazing but there were a few that really shined…Roselle always greeted us with a smile, Paula at Cucina Romana, Shamika at Le Jardinier, Shauntaei impressed us by remembering our beverage preferences after one meal, Avion and Emelyn at Neptunes and Niami at Soy is quite witty and kept us laughing. There were also many fun filled sunny days at the pool. Between the incredible bartenders, DJs and entertainment crew there wasn’t a dull moment. The RedLane Spa exceeded our expectations with the best massage I’ve experienced. I booked a deep tissue massage with Cindy and I left boneless. She worked every bit of tension out of my body. And Marlene got me back onto shape with a lovely manicure and some very interesting facts about Grenada. It was a pleasure to chat with her. I cannot complete this review without mentioning the superhero that is Wavel. He is the epitome of the extraordinary service Sandals is known for. Wavel is always smiling and eager to be of service in any way. There is not a doubt he will go far! #wingsout Our trip was so enjoyable Londa at Travel and Loyalty did not have to twist my arm to rebook for the next two years. You really cannot beat the loyalty service and discount.

We had a lovely time and it was so relaxing, The airport is 3 mins from the resort and with only 3 or 4 planes per day not a disturbance. PROS Room The walkout honeymoon room we had are the best non butler rooms in my opinion on all the sandals resorts we had room 8113 and it was perfect - view amazing , 5 yards to the infinity pool and on 2 days we had the pool to ourselves. it is tucked away with only the 16 rooms really using the area .great Staff The staff were always helpful Jeremy in the shop went out of his way to find me some sea shoes as there wearn't any in my size and he put them aside for me later that day. Tyrell in the party pool worked so hard , trying to organise his staff, clean the floor and collect glasses - fist pump everytime we got a drink - frozen fruit magarita WOW Table tennis fans get Wavel part of the welcoming team , everyday at 9.30 game on ( he has a mean serve) Food Breakfast - good choice with some local delicacies Pizza - ask for a half and half Spices lunch - buffalo sandwich - still feel the tingle now, highlight for me Butchs - crab cake was delicious, all the steaks were cooked perfectly, you can have as many sides as you want - creamed spinach and the green beans with pancetta both excelent House cocktail - amereto /whiskey - was fantastic Cucina - the 4 cheeses risotto for starter was like a meal ,fabulous the pasta was great and my wife wouldn't share the tiramasu!! Le Jardine - the salmon just feel apart as my wife ate it , it was her favourite meal we ate at the tipsy turtle - buffalo wings an fish and chips - perfect Cafe de paris - Rum and raisin milkshake with irish cream and chocolate crepes for supper you can have the 6 house wines as part of the meals Grounds Keep things clean and tidy and gardeners everywhere truly paradise Beach Plenty of loungers and umbrellas, sea was clear few rocks everyday at 3pm a free Sandals boat trip up to St Georges with a couple of guides CONS Reservations - 6 out of 7 restaurants require reservations- when you live your life by times you don't want it everyday on holiday Service :- many staff being trained, little mistakes and while it was not critical you expect a certain level due to the expectations Towels - not many at 8am Gym :- 3 treadmills some people were hogging them even when Sandals recommends 30 mins per person The staff adheared to covid protocols rigidly This is a wonderful resort and truly is paradise

We stayed for two weeks at Sandals Grenada. This is difficult to describe, the holiday was expensive, but we did expect we would be surrounded in the "Sandals" experience. We weren't, this resort is missing the well advertised luxury attention to detail expected from Sandals. It's small things that mean this holiday didn't have the polish you would expect. There are a lot of new staff in training and the Island is working within its own Government's restrictions, so at the time we were there it isn't possible to leave the resort. Grenada is beautiful, it's a hot, sunny Carribean Island. The PCR tests are completed on your day of arrival and they are a nasal swabs that are inserted so far up your nostril I really thought my contact lens was going to be dislodged. The refund policy is not cash returned to your original payment method, as expected, its room credit or USD on the day of departure so for people not from USA that's two lots of exchange rates. There is a second PCR test 2 days before departure was much kinder to your nose. With the exception of a few hiccups the food is good, in fact this is such a positive experience it really made our stay. Incredible food, lots of choice and a very clear booking process for the 5 places that require it. My personal favourite was Neptune's just excellent for lunch or evening. The Italian restaurant offers incredible food with rapid, high quality service. Drinks - no low cal mixers, but the imports are affected and it is what it is. The bar staff are welcoming and friendly and really try hard to remember your drink and how you like it. Diasha in The Tipsy Turtle is incredible and seems to be able to pour anything you may ask for. Ativa who seems to be everywhere is such a change to other staff members attitudes, she's observant and really helpful. Watersports - Scuba diving is free, and this was one of the reasons we selected Sandals.The team is very restricted around timings of dives due to the enforced curfews they will guide you on what is possible. The boat that was available during our stay was not the advertised dive boat and isn't set up to be a dive boat so this can make moving around the boat and gearing up a little harder. Shawn is there to offer support and this makes it better. Boota extremely helpful and will do what he can, but this is not a PADI 5 star site, despite what Sandals advertise. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and the team works hard. Thank you for making the site so full of colour. Sunbeds and towels... oh my that was a daily adventure to beat the butlers to a bed! We did the 6am dash most days with the dirty towels from the day before just to secure and lounger and then changed the towels when some were available. During our final few days the hotels occupancy increased, however the sun bed availability did not match this. By 6am all beds we reserved leaving nowhere to sit to enjoy our final days. The Reception agree this was a problem, but didn't have a solution. Room - we were in the Pink Gin complex, clearly the older part of the hotel, the rooms are small and very dark wood which makes the room feel closed in. Air-conditioning works and the hotel staff really keep it clean. The butlers, now I understand that this is an enhanced service at a cost. We didn't select this ourselves, but I didn't expect to note such different service levels either. Those without a butler are very much second class citizens.  We wait at the bars for the butlers to be served first, we sit on the loungers that they haven't reserved and we wait much longer for everything. Now Sandals we appreciate we haven't paid for a butler but we have paid for a holiday experience. The Restaurant managers and Food and Beverage director were often seen in varying restaurants, however the managerial role is to stand back in order to observe what is going right and wrong and address any issues as needed. Not to top up staff numbers and serve tables. Whilst this is our first experience of Sandals, it is interesting to speak with very seasoned Sandals customers and note that they too feel they are not getting the standards they have come to expect I firmly believe that reviews are not an opportunity to moan after the holiday. That's unfair and really what does it achieve??? Everything has been discussed with a quality manager on site who listened to what we had to say, but didn't offer any solutions to the points we raised. In short Sandals, if you marketing yourselves at 5 star high end luxury market.... deliver it. Currently all you have is a beautiful resort predominantly great staff, but you are failing to deliver value for money and right now this is a mediocre 4 star site. Lovely to be away and enjoy some sunshine, not a resort we would revisit, because you can achieve a better holiday result at a better price.
