I recently returned from a holiday at the Hotel Kromblick in Chienes..
it is a hotel that I have been frequenting for a few years now because I always find what I want in a tourist facility: services, kindness, availability and a lot of professionalism..!
it is a structure that has evolved over the years to reach current standards.
very well furnished rooms that all overlook the heated outdoor swimming pool (connected to the indoor one) and the pond..
our room was located in the most recent structure and had considerable dimensions and a private sauna (alternatively an infrared armchair)... excellent soundproofing both towards the other rooms and towards the outside..
Well-kept gardens... excellent level of cleanliness both in the common areas and in the rooms...
We note the careful management of the structure….
Large SPA area with saunas, Turkish baths, hydromassages, relaxation areas... the dimensions allow there to never be large crowds..
There is also a nice, well-equipped gym (although we never used it)......
Every morning on excursion; Val Pusteria and the other adjacent/nearby valleys offer many beautiful excursions... (lakes of Braies, Anterselva, Dobbiaco, Landro, Misurina... even challenging excursions to Lagatzuoi, the 3 peaks of Lavaredo or pleasant bike trips from S. Candido in Lienz (Austria)….
In the afternoon we returned tired but satisfied and the "snack" awaited us: a buffet of cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables, fruit and an infinite number of desserts..
The morning breakfast buffet is equally rich, with a wide choice of sweet and savory...
The dinner was also very well looked after with diversified menus where the dishes (as well as being good) were always presented with great attention to the visual impact (the eye also wants its part)..
Staff in all areas of the facility always available, kind, polite and thoughtful.
We had a really good time and the days flew by...
Highly recommended..!!
All the evaluations reported above are obviously subjective and, as such, not always and not shared by everyone.
See you soon
HI

Correct value for money.
Congratulations, I would definitely return.

Very friendly welcome on arrival, exceptional wellness area, with multiple saunas and relaxation areas.
The breakfast buffet offers a great choice of sweet and savory products, for dinner we enjoyed dishes of excellent cuisine and the waiting staff is very kind.
Definitely to recommend and to return.

The water in the swimming pools in the wellness area is cold, ice cold!! The swimming pools are empty because no one can stay in the water!
Great shame because the swimming pools are beautiful on the outside…
The cuisine is not the best, the starter buffet is large but repetitive, the first and second courses are of a low standard, the desserts are good but the quantities are painful..
Water prices of €5 per bottle are an exaggeration!
The hotel's location is inconvenient for the facilities, especially if someone is looking for sledding facilities: the lady at the reception advised us to go sledding in San Candido (almost an hour's drive away) only to discover that the sled track will open in end of December (maybe), great advice was given to us...
Positive sides
Decent spa area (despite the cold)
Good cleanliness of the rooms
The rooms are discreet
Very friendly dining room staff
Too bad, I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone..

We stayed in the romantic suite for 2 days on the first weekend of June, arriving late in the evening (8.40pm) on Friday and immediately rushed to dinner where we ate some excellent food, on Saturday we dedicated ourselves to relaxing in the gym, swimming pool and spa.
Pool and gym area open from 7am to 8pm, sauna area open from 2pm to 7pm.
On Friday evening you can enjoy a spectacular buffet of desserts created by the pastry chef Giuliano, I assure you that they are delicious and the variety is huge.
A special thanks also to Michaela, our waitress, of infinite sweetness and thoughtfulness. We will definitely be back!

The rooms are tastefully decorated and beautifully large; each room has a balcony.
The spa facilities are great, there is an indoor swimming pool from which you can swim into the outdoor pool, as well as several hot tubs and a large swimming pond. There is also a sauna area, as well as the possibility to book massages.
The culinary at Hotel Kronblick is great. Breakfast is offered in buffet form, it is very extensive and tasty.
At dinner, salads, appetizers and soups are also offered as buffets.
Starter, main course and dessert are brought to the table and you have three choices each.
On Thursdays there is a nice gala dinner, which is always something very special.
Finally, I would like to say the price/performance ratio is very good.
We love to come back every year in March.
Talking about the "new" things I have experienced risks exhausting the positive superlatives contained in the vocabulary. The South Tyrolean environment in this period is a riot of lights, colours, illuminations, markets, biscuits and Christmas music. The delicacies savored at the Kronblick on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and up until New Year's Eve dinner were masterfully prepared by the hotel chef assisted by commendable kitchen and dining room staff, always present and available to satisfy every request.
The atmosphere breathed in the St. Sylvester is
then ended at midnight with a pyrotechnic sequence of fireworks (the icing on the cake: a soft snowfall that lasted a few hours). As regards the cleaning of the rooms, the daily organization of the SPA, and other related services, the usual skill as always (already experienced in previous holiday periods).
And.... last but not least: special praise goes to the Falkesteiner family, the hotel's manager. Always available, impeccable professionalism, ready to satisfy the customer for any need and at any time, considering it "sacred".
How beautiful Christmas is at Kronblick!!!

The same applies to the outdoor area by the pool where there is a hot tub with always warm and clean water.
The Eating and the service are really excellent, buffet always very rich and the courses are served with attention to detail.
At the Bar you will find a wide range of Gin and other aperitifs and drinks for all tastes.
The room is cleaned very carefully, beautiful Siute 603 with large balcony and with private covered parking.
The location is optimal for reaching other countries with the fast, comfortable and fresh train.
Tasteful and well-kept furnishings
I would suggest a larger pool if possible.
We will be back, we were pampered! Soon
