We booked this hotel as an overnight stop on our route. We got a great warm welcome when we arrived and discovered a really nice town. So we will make a point of visiting again and spending more time there.

The hosts were very kind. They spoke french slowly so we could understand and encouraged. our attempts to speak French. The town is uniquely medieval and beautiful Most buildings were 400 to 600 years old. Like walking thru history. Our hosts recommended sites in the area. If you want a true french country side experience, stay here.

A very nice small (20 rooms?) mom and pop 3 star establishment. A bit dated in décor, showing a little patina of age, but in a comfortable way. Our room looked out onto the river (and the camping area on the bank) and was large and quiet. Comfortable bed. Warm and friendly reception. Simple breakfast. Very marginal wi-fi.

Only spent a few hours here, but on what I experienced I will be back! We arrived at about 22.45 to find the door locked, rang the intercom, and to our relief we where greeted and informed our key was on the reception counter. Our room was on the top floor, quite spacious, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was serve before... More

Hotel De La Tour is an attractive hotel located in the centre of a very nice little riverside town. Rooms were small but well organised and the bathroom had a bath which was very welcome after a long day walking. All you would expect from a 3 star hotel and at a reasonable price.

This small hotel, located in a small town a few kilometers from the busy city of Rouen, is fine to avoid the hassle of staying in Rouen. Rooms at the front face the street, the river and a campground while the rooms at the back look out to a large patio and the Cathedral. The room size is reasonable with... More

This boutique hotel located in the Middle Age city of Pont de l'Arche, in Normandy, is a jewel and an excellent base to get to know other attractions like Rouen, Giverny (house and gardens of impressionist painter Claude Monet), Vernon and the Castle of Gaillon, places that make up the large Gothic, Rennaissance and Neo-Classical heritage of Northern France. The... More

The hotel is a typical old French hotel ideal for a stop over which is what we used it for, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff pleasant only French spoken, the car park has only room for two cars but the road outside has parking spaces and is very quiet. The hotel only provides breakfast (at extra... More

I will keep this brief. If you are coming back from the West of France to Calais. This little town is about 3 hours from the chunnel. Its a nice enough town, handful of bars, nowhere really grabs you for dinner though. We walked over the Bridge across the Seine to the very nice Auberge Du Pressoirs. Excellent meal there.... More

We were on our way back to Germany from Normandy and this small town was outside Rouen, which was about half-way home. We didn't have a reservation but the hotel appeared nice and clean from the street so we checked to see if they had a vacancy. Fortunately for us, they did. The room was very nice and clean and...
