We returned after a 3 year gap. We were welcomed by the owner and shown to our room across a very quite road in a modern annex. The room was on the first floor with a balcony with a view of the mountains. There was an excellent shower and separate toilet. Evening meals were taken in the restaurant back over...

We visited this hotel again for the fourth time and were so pleased we did. Once again we were greeted like friends, they were so welcoming. Some English is spoken here which was helpful for our 'school French'. I have to recommend the chef Christofe, I have multiple food allergies, but every evening a gourmet meal was presented that had...

Lovely spot, nice people, great location and great food. Quite rural France, no English spoken but that doesn't matter makes all the more fun. Food fantastic, scenery and location faultless, rooms large, clean and warm, comfy bed, didn't get to try the pool but will if we get a chance to go back.

Friendly atmosphere, welcoming service, comfortable cosy rooms with fantastic views and good food. The heated pool was a welcome bonus after a long journey. It is a shame that the breakfast room has no windows or view. It is unattractive and the buffet choice was disappointing.

What a wonderful warm welcome we were given by the staff. This is a family hotel, which has been in the same family for several generations, and you can tell. Hospitality is in their blood (particularly the older lady mentioned in other reviews - does she ever go to bed?!). They bend over backwards to make sure that you enjoy...

Good points: Good service (we were especially impressed by the older lady who was present from breakfast to supper and even afterwards), great on-site restaurant, nice pool (the retractable cover came in handy as the weather wasn't great during our stay yet we were still able to swim), large room (we booked a triple since we were traveling with a...

Le Chalet is a family-run hotel set in stunning mountain scenery. Great for walking if you're fit enough, lovely to look at anyway. The food is good and the rooms comfortable. The half-board option is particularly good value. It was very hot when we were there, which made the swimming pool particularly welcome.

This family-hotel is a great place to stay when you are in the Vercors region. All rooms (in the annex) have balconies and a splendid view on the Vercors range. They are spacious and comfortable (but not very soundproof, which can be a nuisance with noisy neighbours,). Half-board gives excellent value for money and service is impeccable. The hotel has...

The arrival from the South is up a very difficult road but the route from the North is much better. the room we stayed in was in the annex across the road, no problem the road is very quite. The room was large with a balcony with a great view over the mountains. There is a covered pool on a...

“The hotel has a more modern annexe on the opposite side of a not very busy road. Breakfast is served in the annexe, diner in the main building. The hotel has some 30 rooms. There is probably more sunshine in the rooms in the annexe, most of which have balconies.”

“Rooms in the more modern building are likely to be quieter. That said, we had Room 9 in the old building facing the road and were only disturbed by dustbins being emptied at 6pm on Monday and Thursday, as traffic completely stops at night. It is a lovely sunny room.”
