Lovely hotel, the kids loved it more than Versailles because they said it is alive, they spend their time on the lake andin the park, very simple and natural attractions, you feel at home in an amazing castle and scenery

We are cycling home from Paris and enjoyed this hotel, the receptionist was very nice and offered us a safe place to put our bikes. We could see that a place like this needs a lot of maintenance. In the lounge coffe/ tea and non alcoholic drinks are free availible. The room was clean, the beds and bathroom comfortable. The restaurant served a great meal ( rather expensive)

The first time I stayed was great but the second time wasn't as good because the staff weren't friendly and were very rude! I'd of loved to have gone back once again but after that definitely not! In a way I'm made up as I can visit others instead now.

My teenage and young adult kids asked to stay in a castle while in France; this chateau with its moat fit the bill. The property is beautiful and only improving as the new owner makes additional investments. Given the age and history of the property, we were not expecting every amenity of a full-service resort. In fact, we really enjoyed feeling the history of the chateau. The staff was very accommodating and the proprietor made sure that we felt at home. The property is in a quaint village that feels worlds away from Paris, but is only a short drive to the airport. Every member of our family absolutely loved it and we plan on returning.

My husband and I stayed one night at the end of our ten-day anniversary trip so we could be in a quaint village not too far from Charles de Gaulle. It is a beautiful property with much potential, but is in a run-down sate and does not have much staff. There was no bellman and the receptionist was not welcoming or helpful. We booked a room with a queen bed that was so small you could hardly turn around. The toilet was separate from the shower and sink, and so tiny you could not sit down without hitting your knees on the wall! The shower and sink had no door so that there was absolutely no privacy at all and the shower splashed out into the bedroom. The room would have been suitable for one person with a smaller bed, but we had to maneuver around the queen and it was uncomfortable. The photos make the place look much nicer than it is. I do not recommend it.
