We went to La Barriere for just one night and booked 5 rooms for bed and breakfast. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to try the restaurant, but the beds and rooms were clean and good value, and the breakfast really good. We paid for our rooms afterwards and all agreed the staff were very friendly and the cost...

We were here for two nights attending an official event on Bastille Day. The welcome and attention from the owner were excellent. We ate here and the food is traditional and of excellent quality. The lamb, guinea fowl and fish were cooked as they should be,pink lamb, braised guinea fowl, and fish as requested by one guest who has a garlic allergy!...

We arrived and the sun was shinging and enjoyed a glass or 2 in the sunny courtyard. At first 33eu seemed high for a set meal in a hotel that only cost £50 for a double room, but we were not disappointed, it was a gourmet feast, with a breakfast to match As others have mentioned, the host certainly responds...

Heve stayed here before and had no hesitation in booking again en route to our holiday. Rooms are situated round a small courtyard and are fairly small but excellent value for money. The same is true also for the evening meal with attentive service from the friendly owner. Only possible downside is the nearby railway line with goods trains rumbling...

There were many local people in the restaurant, enjoying a quiet night out and excellent food. All menus are in French, so keep your phrase book handy. 'Mine host' seemed to be on duty 24/7, but always had a ready smile and friendly word. His English was as limited as my French, but we got by, and even managed a...

We rode our motorbikes down to Rang Du Flier and we were really pleased to find that the rooms of this lovely hotel are in an enclosed square with a solid gate that is locked at night. The hotel owner alowed us to park the bikes outside our rooms and it was great to know they were secure. The room...
