Hotel was nice and clean but basic. Could do with revamp.
pool was nice but could of had more sun loungers by the pool.
Building next door is complete no noise
Right on the beach in the middle of Karon beach
Prices are expensive for food and drinks but plenty of nice cheep restaurants close by
First room we was given was on 5th floor with a view of a brick wall
Offered better room for an extra £10 per night with pool view well worth it
Only bad thing was the Russian guests very rude and ignorant especially to the staff.
Staff was friendly and pleasant cleaners were very nice couldn’t do enough

On arrival we were expected to carry our own luggage up the stairs where taxi driver dropped us as no Bell Boy service. Reception staff did not smile or greet us at anytime of my duration. The rooms were large but very dated especially the bathroom. There was constantly issues from power failure, AC problem, safe deposit, water over spilling in bathroom after taking a shower due to dated design. When I spoke to reception staff about one particular issue they tole me to put in the feedback/review when I go back. Extremely unhelpful, uncompassionate and hard to communicate with. Requested to speak to Hotel Manager was told "No" as Hotel Manager doesn't speak English. Wasn't an option. Katy the Information/Tour Desk girl was so friendly, always smiled and happy to help us for directions or anything relating to Thailand. Would book tours with Katy her prices were fair compared to others.
Room service was done upon request but probably not until late afternoon.
Currently construction is happening next door and depending where you book your room there is constant drilling and non stop noise.
Apart from the 2 minute walk across the road to the beach and beautiful view of beach I would not rate this Hotel a 4* definitely needs updating for that rating.
Would definitely recommend Champion Seafood restuarant a few minutes up the street clean, cheap, quick service and very friendly.

Recently spent 6 nights at the Woraburi. On check in we were upgraded to a Superior Poolview room on the top floor which was nice. Room was large enough for two with a double bed and a single bed as well. Large balcony with two chairs and a table which we used a lot for a nightcap.

Room was overall comfortable and very clean but like other reviewers have mentioned, it was a little tired in places. The shower for the first use emitted brown water and it is a fixed shower head with quite a large bathtub to clamber in to so may not be brill for someone with mobility issues. Not sure if all rooms are like this. We also had an issue with the toilet blocking one day.

We loved the lazy river style pool and found the pool area to be very private in the way it was designed. We also love the swim up pool bar. We used the restaurant on site a couple of times and found the food really nice and affordable. We wasn’t as keen on the breakfast- food was nice enough just not a lot of choice for western tastes but I’m fairness we are in Thailand so can’t expect much more.

In terms of hotel staff we had a very mixed experience- Keng and the other pool bar staff as well as the cleaners were amazing. So friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The reception staff we found however were quite cold and their English language skills were very lacking which made for some awkward interactions. I know we are in Thailand but this is an international hotel and during our stay the majority of the guests were either native English speakers or communicated in English if not their first language. I would have expected the front of house staff to have spoke a higher level of English to be honest.

We booked our trips through Katy at the excursion desk who as others have said is great. Really friendly and informative and the trips are as a good a price as anyway else in Karon so save yourself the hassle and just book with her. However bare in mind some of the most popular trips need to be booked several days in advance due to high demand.

In conclusion we had a great time at the Woraburi. It is in a great spot right opposite Karon Beach and close to several bars and restaurants although the whole resort is currently very quiet. Would I stay here again? Yes I would if the prices were reasonable. They were just a few little niggles but wasn’t anything that would put me off returning or recommending to others

We stayed here for 19 days. Very friendly staff who all went the extra mile to make our stay excellent. We had to cut 2 days from our reservation. No issues to do so. Great breakfast. Clean pool and hotel. The tour desk and transportation desk staff were very accommodating The hotel is a two minute walk to the beach where 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella rent for 200 Bhat/ day. There are multiple restaurants near by as well as a shopping area

Sadly this hotel failed to deliver on several key points for me as a regular traveller to Thailand. The check-in was simple but unfortunately staff fail to communicate where the breakfast is what time the dinner restaurant opens where the gym or any other facilities like what time the pool is open and closed at I feel that the staff could have done much better upon my arrival first impressions are very important. The room was clean on arrival and maintained daily sadly though housekeepingDid not clean the room until after 4 pm nearly every day this did not suit my needs as I would like to have come back to the room for an afternoon rest before going out for dinner it mattered not that I put the sign on the door to make up the room they came every day at the same time The breakfast room was very mediocre with no bacon available or western food everything targeted for Thai or Chinese people. The swimming pool was not cleaned daily and there was generally dirt to breeze and leaves floating on the water at all times you also had to get your pool towels from the reception area every time you wish to swim and they were not available in your room.
The TV boasted several international cable channels but upon check-in half these cable channels were low signal or not working I requested for reception to find me English channels and they told me they have not got any this was a very disappointing outcome. From start to finish this hotel failed to deliver on so many levels the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is it’s beautiful location right opposite the beach sadly for management perhaps you need to re-train your staff in better levels of customer service and check in.

Excellent stay, great value for money. Hotel Woraburi situated opposite the beach, a 5 minute walk to the main area for restaurants/shops etc. However, many were closed or shut down due to the effect Covid has had on tourism in Phuket.
Stayed in room 339 overlooking the pool.
Room of a good size, very clean, however, bathroom needs updating, take out the bath and just have a shower area. Pool long and narrow, I'd imagine if the hotel was busy the pool area would look overcrowded.
Breakfast wasn't the best, American or Thai with a few extras, but okay to start the day.
Restaurant food was good, a varied menu of dishes, from Pizza, Thai & European dishes, a little more expensive than other restaurants around, but not to bad.
All staff were excellent, professional, polite, helpful, from receptionists, housekeepers, office staff, restaurant staff and chefs, all name us feel welcome.
Overall, an excellent stay, great value for money and friendly staff. Would stay again if visiting Karon Beach

We are currently staying at the hotel and are having a great holiday. The staff are very friendly and the room is clean, comfortable and meets our needs perfectly. The beach directly across from the hotel is beautiful and easily accessed. I would highly recommend booking a pool access room which for the small additional charge is well worth the money. If you like myself you have mobility issues, room 135 is great because there is hand rail adjacent to the room to help you getting in and out of the pool. I was concerned that privacy might be an issue being so close to the pool but it hasn’t been a problem. Post Covid the area is extremely quiet however if you are looking for a place to relax this hotel is perfect and the bars and bustle of Patong are only a short taxi ride away. There is excellent eating within a short walk of the hotel and I can highly recommend Seafood Champion which is a couple of doors down from the hotel. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast is the usual fare with plenty of variety whatever your needs. I’ve seen some negative reviews from guests pre Covid however I can happily recommend this hotel.

No information about the hotel's facilities.
Poor selection of food in the breakfast buffet.
At the "egg station" the chef was not present, so could not order an omelette, which was almost the only protein option in the buffet.
No hand soap in the room.
The receptionist who showed us the room was ignorant and did’t even wish us a good stay, she just left without a word as soon as she had unlocked the room door.
It must be said that the stay was cheap, but normal behavior from service people is to be expected, regardless.

Paid rack rate for a Deluxe room. The “view “ is of an out of order room draped in construction tarp and caution tape.
The toilet clogs each time you try to use it.
The staff is not helpful. Four times I asked for a room move to a more suitable room. I asked to speak with a manager several times but was told no one was available.
I give 2 stars because the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.
But when you travel thousands of miles and pay premium prices, you want a satisfactory room to enjoy.
The reviews that mention the age and condition of the property are correct.

stayed for a month late March, best part for me was the staff, breakfast staff first class, nothing too much trouble always with a smile. Left on our wedding anniversary reception kind enough to let us check out a little later free gratis.Room was ample in size ,all basics covered .Had a dripping tap reported and had a new one fitted the very next day .A little dated but all main areas well maintained. Beach directly across the road. Little disapointing cleaner only cleaned bathroom mirror once and not always a full set of towels. All in allwould stay again .Well done Woraburi

They have very poor service and I was quite disappointed with them. It’s better you email the hotel and ask for clarity.

Yes, there are halal restaurants in Karon beach, no worries! The hotel is awesome, our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff are very hospitable and nothing is a problem. They have a great Tour centre available and very knowledgeable. The breakfast is extensive, hot and cold choices. The bar is quaint and you can sit back and watch over the water. The food was good in the restaurant and a large selection. Within 10 minute walking there is a massive variety of choices for eating, retail and activities. They offer help with car rent, we got a car from Orange car Phuket. The markets of a Friday night are fantastic, about a 15 minute walk to Katon.
