Winter or Summer: one of the best places to stay and eat in the wide area! We have been often in Summer: but Winter is great as well. Both the hotel as well as the restaurant are terrific, and among the best in the wide area.
We have stayed several times at the B design part of this hotel but this was the first time we have stayed in the olivades part. This is more of a traditional hotel room than the more minimalistic b design. It was nicely presented and spotlessly clean. Great swimming pool. A good choice of both hot and cold food for breakfast and the kitchen area has been smartly redesigned since last year. We had one excellent meal in the hotels Nancy Bourginion restaurant and the hotel is in a good position to sample the excellent culinary experiences available in nearby Paradou and Maussane-les-Alpilles. These included our previously discovered favourites of La Fleur de thym, Le Bistrot du Paradou andL’Oustaloun as well as newly discovered gems of Bec restaurant and Maison Drouot. Great to visit neighbouring towns of Les Baux and Saint Remy slightly further places such as Nîmes, Pont du Gard and Gordes.…
I was there out of season, and then my room for a single person cost me over 162 dollars! And the room was not big, just an average size. It does have all the comforts, a nice bathroom, great towels, nice products, hair dryer etc,,, and a lovely terrace. It was chilly so I didn't take advantage of the pool area, but I did try the spa and although the lady who did the epilation was excellent, my aromassage was average... the food is superb, but very expensive. I ate at their restaurant and had a sublime leek dish with a tarragon butter sauce which was very lovely, (I was not crazy about the thinly sliced, raw pieces of radish however) and my turbot was excellent. Ms. Bourgignon is very attentive to her diners and all the hotel guests. And although I loved the food, I wish the appetizer had a few more pieces of leeks (for 18 Euros a few small pieces didn't really do it for me), although the main dish of turbot, was a nice big thick piece, and the broccoli puree it came with was very tasty. I would come back here. The place is serene and quiet and lovely.…
We stayed there for four nights. The staff was very welcoming and did everything to feel comfortable. We were with a person on a wheelchair and they have a room for disabled people which helped us a lot. The breakfast buffet was nice. The rooms are very cosy. Nice place to stay in off season. We also had a massage which was really nice. They use very nice cosmetics.
A beautiful hotel with great facilities. Very peaceful and relaxing. The hotel is owned by a lovely family and the staff are extremely helpful. The restaurant is superb. Great buffet breakfast. Our room was really good. We did not want to leave.
