We were a family of 5 traveling to different places on Corsica. And this stay was amazing. You had nice, clean and large rooms. We achieved good service. You had a pool that faced into a small forest, so you could hear the birds and the wildlife. It is not crowded with other hotels and houses around this hotel. But still, not too far from the hotel, you have a beautiful beach, and you have various restaurants to choose from. There were also various stores, and many local people live in the area, so it is not an area crowded by just tourists, so that is nice. We had an excellent stay here at "Hotel et Residence Costa Rossa"
Very disappointed. Great location close to port and a nice aspect but the moment we smelt the air fresheners plugged in along the hallway we knew there was an odour problem. Our quadruple room was on the -2 floor and smelled. We kept the door open as much as possible but after 3 days the smell was still there. We complained straight away and asked for a different room but the manager said it was just because it had been raining for days. Disappointed the manager didn’t take our complaints seriously. Our children slept In a windowless room where it was worse still. Strange also there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room. If you choose this hotel, get a room on the top floor!
What a treat to arrive at this lovely hotel after 4 days hiking in the knowledge we would be there for two days! The rooms were excellent - large and airy with fabulous views from the balcony of the hotel’s beautiful gardens, the large swimming pool, the steep and craggy mountains beyond and glimpses of the sea. We spent our rest day by the pool. We enjoyed the best breakfasts of our entire Corsican trip. Could have done with another two days there!
We stayed here and it is the most beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing. The pool located amongst eucalyptus trees and the mountains is stunning. The breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel to all and when we return to Porto we will be coming back here
This is a new hotel with large rooms and terraces. Has a nice view of the sea, the river, and the Genoese tower. Has TV, WiFi and a swimming pool. The breakfats was good. At night can be seen the tower that has changing colors and makes it very interesting,
Arrived after a very hot cycle ride from Ille Rousse. Not much from outside, however once inside we realised it's a very nicely built hotel, although "upside down"! Floor -2 takes you out to gardens, lovely pool and fantastic mountain views. Rooms clean, large and modern. Most with balconies. Breakfast and Wi-Fi also good.
It doesn't look much from the outside - a single storey building - but the other two floors are built into the hillside below, overlooking the gardens and pool. We stayed here for two nights on our walking trip in Corsica. Lovely spacious rooms, good bathroom, all with balcony and some kind of view (we were at ground level so could see the sea and the gardens). The staff don't speak much English but very obliging to a bit of tourist French. The pool is great after a hard day's walk and the breakfast buffet is excellent.
Definitely one of the better hotels in Porto, with a fantastic pool with views of the forest and towards the beach to lounge by. The village centre is 5 min walk away, which is handy for breakfasts and dinners, while the beach is another 10min – on the other side of the river and marina. The service is very friendly, though do note that reception closes at 8pm. Wifi is free and the hotel offers a laundry service (which is handy for a long stay), but quite oddly for a 3 star hotel, there is a charge to use the fridge in the room – even if just to keep bottles of water chilled. There is limited (8) free hotel parking spaces, but the on-street parking is fortunately free in the evenings.
Newish hotel that's rather more attractive inside than out. Good-sized rooms with (shared) terrace looking across gardens towards the sea. Large bathrooms with baths and disappointing shower. Staff pleasant, breakfast better than usual. Wifi seems fine. 400 metres down to port, with good choice of average restaurants.
Nice hotel, with excellent swimming pool. The parking was supposed to be free, unfortunately there are only a limited number of places which were mostly occupied. The hotel has a beautiful garden in which the excellent pool is located. From the rooms and the swimming pool you have beautiful views on the garden, the mountains and the see. Wifi was available at minimal cost (and minimal strength). Breakfast was very nice although we did have some unwelcome visitors (wasps).
