I stayed two nights here. There is a phone number displayed on front door which you ring if you arrive before 5.00pm. You are given a code to key in and door opens. My key was waiting for me on front desk. Both on phone and during my stay the lady spoke to me only in French. Whether this was...

We spent a couple of days here as we wanted to visit Troyes - a lovely city and not too far from hotel, which is also on a bus route. Couldn't fault the hotel - friendly, comfortable, very good breakfast. They gave us discount vouchers for nearby Courtepaille and La Criee restaurants, which were both good.

Fairly basic accommodation, reasonably priced: small room with slightly dated en suite bathroom and shuttered French window. Situated quite a way out of Troyes – it took us around an hour to walk into the centre, so would be best for those willing to drive into town or to factory outlets. The reception is only open from 17h00 a 21h30...

Les Épingliers hotel is located in Saint-André-les-Vergers just south of Troyes at the N77 road to Auxerre. The hotel is family operated. Staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Les Épingliers has only ground-floor rooms and a large free parking. Next door is the gastronomic restaurant La Gentilhommière. At walking distance you find the more priceworthy La Criée fish-restaurant and Courtepaille...

Troyes is a very lovely city. Although this hotel is not at the center, it is an ideal place for those travelling by car. Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is very good.Price;very economic.

I found the service to be very friendly and family-like, though the accommodation itself seemed to be a bit.. clinical? The building felt like an ex-nursing home, which was just sort of unpleasant. For the price, though, I think I'd stay there again, since there was nothing terribly wrong with the place, it just wasn't a NICE place is all.

Check location on a seperate map, it is easier to find than their own map depicts! Each room has its own theme and hotel is set in a relaxing garden location, about 10 minutes to centre of Troyes. Very comfortable rooms and spotless bathroom.

Citotel is not a chain of luxury hotels -- they just offer decent accommodation for a decent price. But the lack of luxury is largely compensated for by the friendliness of the service. Guests are made to feel "part of the family". Epingliers (hat-pins, because of the city's past in hat-making) does not sport a restaurant, but there is an...
