Sarah and Dan have created a really all-in experience - your rooms are fitted to the last detail, whether you want to stay in or go out (you have pots enough to cook elaborate dinner, as well as profi hair dryer and well-lit mirror :-)
The pool, the gardens, the BBQ - everything is thought about and cared for so that you chill out in full comfort without the hassle of the big hotels. Youth vibe while respecting resting hours and everybody's wellbeing.
The Kitehouse has a home spot in walking distance (suitable for independent kiters), and is only 10 min drive away from the unbelievable lagoon of Punto Trettu, where you enjoy both south and north winds.
If you need kite lessons - best book in advance, the schedule is full, they are that good! 10 or 50 y.o. = Jakopo's team will find the right approach to make your dreams of flying come true - all that with the most charming italian accent :-)

Large supermarket 10 minutes away, another 10 will get you to either the near-by San Antiocco island or the city of Carbonia, with enough good local restaurants. The closest "blue&white" beach is Porto Pino, really worth visiting.

Already dreaming of being back...

We stayed for the 2nd time at this beautiful accommodation in one of the nice Eucalipti houses. The houses and the pool are surrounded by olive trees and palms. Everything is quite peaceful und cleaned up. We always are connected with Sarah who’s taking care on everything and helps in any case. From the first day on to the last one we got help on whatever we need. Therefore no wind days are no problem, as you get so much inspiration from the team what you can do next to kiting. E.g. horseback riding, stand up paddling etc.

For the kiting, the Spot Punta trettu is reachable in only 10 minutes. So it’s very close which is pretty nice. What I really find good is the ability to wash the kite stuff directly at the house. Every house has its own water-spreading ability to wash away the salty water from your gear, which is very good. There is also a place to wash the kites when the holidays comes to an end.

They have also a place for kids, where they can have fun. But the most the kids enjoyed the dogs of the cottage and played as many time as we stayed at the house.

So I can really recommend it for staying next to punta trettu and yes in deed we will come back. 🤗

We (family of five, children 11, 13 and 15) spent our two-week summer holiday in the Kitehouse. As my wife had to study for an exam and I wanted to take a kite course with my children, we were looking for accommodation that was as quiet and beautiful as possible with a pool and close to the sea, as well as access to a kite school and a kite area suitable for beginners. We were not disappointed!!! The Kitehouse holiday complex is very well maintained, very chilled and well managed by Sarah and Daniele. The pool is big enough and very clean, the holiday apartments are well furnished. We felt very comfortable! The kite school and the instructors are great, everyone is super friendly, builds on the students' existing skills and develops them at the right pace. We never felt overwhelmed or under-challenged and had a lot of fun. Safety is our top priority! The Punta Trettu area is a standing area, which made it easy for us to get into kiting. If you want to learn to kite, I can absolutely recommend Punta Trettu and the Kitehouse kite school with Mattia and his instructors. Great trainers and great people!!! If we go on holiday in Sardinia again, we will definitely go to them again for at least a few days! Or to put it another way: The Kitehouse and the kite school are very good arguments for another (kite) holiday in Sardinia!

We had a really great time at Kite House Sardinia. The house was very comfortable with good amount of space, a patio, and a fully equiped kitchen. I also booked lessons via Kite House Sardinia, and thanks to the great kite spot location (10 minutes drive from the Kite House, with clear shallow water that seemed to go on endlessly) and great instructor (thanks again Nicola!) I went from body dragging to being able to ride upwind (and manage a transition once out of every 10 attempts). The surroundings are also great with many beautiful beaches around within a 30 minute drive. You can also visit Sant’Antioco (10 minute drive) or even take the ferry to Carloforte (30 minute drive to Calasetta and then get on the ferry with your car) where there are even more beaches to explore. There are also great restaurants nearby to eat delicious sea food.

I would like say I had a good experience, but unfortunately things did not turn out this way. We agreed with Dan, the manager over WhatsApp for a 2 nights stay and told him we would arrive late afternoon. After a drink at the kite club near the beach, we were texting him asking if they had a restaurant but he stopped answering and tried to force us staying 3 nights. After dinner, we arrived at kite house around 9:30pm. There were no reception desk or restaurant. We finally found Dan, drunk/high/both?, very mad at us for integrating his kite community. He made it very clear he was not happy to see us and recommended we got stay at Perda Rubia. That kite house was definitely not the typical chill vibes kite club you’d find around the world.

We went to Perda Rubia, there were lots of others kiters. That hotel also had one of the recommended restaurants in the area, the manager immediately accommodated us and everything went fine. We made the right decision.

First of all you have been 3 minutes at the Kite House, so you have not had any experience here. Then, I'm sorry that even in the kite world there are such stressed and frustrated people! You wrote me this message at 11.55 pm on 30/09: “Hello! I would like to know if you have availability for tomorrow night, and the next day? Check in would be oct 1, checkout on oct 3, we are 2 people”. The next morning, at 8.45 am I replied with this message: “for tonight I can offer you one or two bedrooms in the staff house (you should share the house with me) and from tomorrow you could have one private apt.” You replied with this message: “Okay cool! We should arrive somewhere around late afternoon”. Then at 7.43 pm you wrote me: “Hello, sorry for the confusion, we would stay for 2 nights only”. I realized you were coming the next day and at 8.01 pm I replied: “Ok no problem, so will you come tomorrow?”. So, I went to dinner with my family (it was Saturday night)… Then you arrived after 10 pm and very aggressively asked me why I had not answered your question that you had written to me at 8.12 pm: "Is there a restaurant at the kite house?” Simply because I had not read it, I was at dinner! At that point, I really didn't feel to host you in my home for one night and then staying just another night in another apartment, so I recommended the Hotel Perda Rubia (near us) which has also a good restaurant... For 10 years, ever since we put Punta Trettu on the map, I have always responded to all requests in a polite way, always looking for the best solution for everyone. So, I’m sorry that there was this misunderstanding, but I suggest you to read better next time! The Kite House is not a hotel and we do not have a restaurant, it is not written anywhere. And if I didn't answer your message immediately at 8.12 pm on Saturday night, you could have simply called me instead of arriving here after 10pm in these manners and so hungry. We have our reception at the entrance of the property and you are the only one who missed it (perhaps you were “drunk/high/both”). I am in a very good mood, as the entire Kite House Sardinia team, as evidenced by all the other reviews that are completely opposite to what you wrote. So I would make a careful analysis of yourself, because it is clear that there is something wrong with you. You don't know how to live… Dan Manager Kite House Sardinia

wonderful experience, it had been years since I went to Sardinia to kite, I have to change my mind after the wonderful holiday with my wife and friends at the Kite House Sardinia managed by Top Daniele and the very cute Sara.
the apartments are in a vegetation where there is enormous silence, it is possible to go out to the small beach in front of the Kite House (300 meters) where there are very few kites and you can do all the maneuvers you want. or go to Porto Botte or other beautiful places because everything is close by.
the two dinners made by the pool with the barbecue were fun, for those who need school there is the legendary Jacopo who organizes courses.
I will definitely return. !!!!!

We spent 2 weeks at Kite House and it was a fantastic experience. Tranquil place, with lots of amenities for a relaxing stay - great pool, BBQ area, palm trees and nicely decorated accommodations. What makes a great location absolutely fantastic is the service and friendliness of the whole team working there. Always eager to answer questions, both Kite House team and instructors are absolutely fabulous.

There are lots of lovely beaches to explore nearby, especially on the island of St Antioco. Same for amenities - a good selection of restaurants, and plenty of supermarkets for provisions. Area is not spoilt by mass tourism, and there are no "tourist traps" - people are friendly and nice.

Now to the kiting - after all, this was our main activity. The School team are abs fabulous - always with a positive attitude and professional. Equipment was of great quality, we discussed our goals and made solid progress. The actual spot of Punta Trettu nearby is a shallow and warm lagoon without waves - making it safe and fun place to learn for all levels.

Beautiful holiday and kitesurfing experience. Sarah and Daniele are very kind and always available for any need. The Kitehouse is a small paradise out of this world very close to Punta Trettu, where you can go kitesurfing. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxed. The center has all the equipment to enjoy a beautiful holiday in nature and go kitesurfing, hanging out in the pool or taking part in various activities such as yoga or horse riding. The kitesurf instructors are very knowledgeable, kind, patient and always attentive to the needs and safety of those learning. I've made good progress and I'm very happy with it. Furthermore, the surroundings are full of beautiful beaches and you can have extremely interesting cultural experiences. I thank all the staff and hope to return soon! Juliana

I stayed in the Kite House last week, with my 2 daughters and our friends' family.
Sarah and Daniele, wonderful hosts, have been able to create a unique place, where nature, sport, human relations and a sense of freedom come together to create true magic!
The village has an international vocation, and is frequented mainly by those like us who have approached kite or are already expert interpreters. It is a splendid location, located in a strategic position, just a few minutes from S. Antioco, but above all close to the water mirror of Punta Trettu, where we held the lessons followed by a truly close-knit and engaging crew of certified instructors, of whom I particularly thank Jamila and Gabriele, as well as Marcella, a skilled organizer.
Hello to all of you, we will definitely see you again!
