I stayed here for 3 nights during a visit to the Inle Lake area. I knew upon arrival that the hotel would be special due to the friendly (almost over the top!) service of the ladies working there. They immediately took all my luggage to the room, gave me a welcome drink, and explained all of the various options for sightseeing, tours, etc. in the area. The room was nice - it was spacious, had a lot of light, and all the amenities... very welcome after trekking for 2 days. Wifi worked reasonably well in the room and the shower, AC, etc. all worked well too. The hotel has a nice breakfast with set menus to choose from; I found it one of the better breakfasts I had in Myanmar. The restaurant (where breakfast is served as well) has a nice happy hour with sunset views, craft beers, and the same friendly service. It was a nice place to relax and unwind at the end of a long day. The only real drawback I experienced was that the room was a bit noisy - roosters in the morning, dogs barking at night, and then there was a noisy tour group coming in during the evening and it was easy to hear all their conversations outside the window. If I had one complaint it's that the cottages aren't very well insulated from outside noise. Taking all of the above together it was a great stay in an easily accessible location in Nyuangshwe for sightseeing and relaxing. Most of all the friendly and welcoming service with a no-hassle, no-nonsense attitude is what stood out for me. All services (tours, laundry, etc.) were a bargain/fairly priced and I felt that the hotel really went out of its way to create a genuinely welcoming atmosphere for guests. For these reasons I'd be happy to return on a future trip to the area.

Hotel's Favorite
This property is peaceful. beautifully landscaped, well maintained, and has absolutely wonderful staff. The women who run this cottage aim to give you the best experience they can, and it shows! We received turn-down service, fresh fruit every day, and helpful advice about the area and how to get around the lake and town. There is a restaurant on the top floor of the main building that serves good, affordable food and drinks (especially at happy hour!), and the cottages are easy walking distance to the main town and boat drivers. This was easily my favorite accommodation during my two week trip in Myanmar, and I would highly recommend it to friends!

We visited this fantastic Boutique Hotel and were very happy with our choice. It is totally run by enthusiastic, polite ladies who we could not fault! The hotel was absolutely spotless, great rooms and the hotel bar and restaurant was excellent! They also have free bikes to rent.

The hotel is in a quite street at the edge of town, but still everything can be reached on foot. The cottages around a beautiful lush garden are very nicely and tastefully made, all with local materials by local carpenters. The main building with the reception and a wonderful roof top restaurant and bar is also inviting. Breakfast is very tasty. In addition to real fruit-juice and fresh fruits, one can choose a western or asian main dish. The roof top bar is also ideal to watch the sunset , have a real coffee, cocktail or beer for local reasonable prices. The absolute highlight are the very friendly and enormously helpful women who run the hotel. They go out of their way to help. E.g they booked flights for us without any commission charge and much more!

Beautiful cottage, entirely made of wood, located at the city borders of Nyaung Shwe, a few miles away from Inle Lake; the overall structure is consisting of one bigger building, hosting the reception, the lobby, and the restaurant at the upper floor, and a series of bungalows, one at side of each other. The assembly conformation looks welcoming, pleasant, and very warm. On our arrival, we’ve been very warmly welcomed by the hotel staff, totally female, composed of cute, young, kind and smiling ladies, full expression of the typical and vaunted oriental hospitality. Very attractive the lobby, furnished with typical furniture and many handicrafts articles (marionettes, papier-mache puppets, carved panels, handmade umbrellas), which can be purchased at very affordable prices. After leaving the lobby, we reached our lodging, by crossing a small tropical garden forming the inner courtyard; the wooden bungalows are regularly aligned on each of its sides. On the front of our bungalow, we found the small terrace, with a table and some chairs, from which we had the chance to admire and enjoy the lush garden and the beautiful evening light. Once inside the bungalow, the wide room immediately appeared welcoming, warm, very bright, thanks to the large windows, well furnished (with a large desk, a flat screen TV, the fridge bar, the aircon), very spacious and with a high ceiling; the beds were wide and very comfortables, and so was the bathroom, with bathtub and efficient shower. In the bathroom, soft towels (changed daily) and very funny handicrafts amenities. Our night rest, as we expected, has been absolutely quiet, thanks to the total lack of traffic and noise. One night, as it was cold, upon our highlight to the staff about that, we were promptly brought blankets and radiator; an additional demonstration of efficiency. Let’s talk about the terraced dining room on the first floor (reachable through an external stair), where the breakfast is served, even if it is even possible to take the lunch, the dinner, or simply to take a drink; during an evening aperitif, we witnessed a unforgettable fiery sunset, to admire shortly after the moon and a wonderful starry sky. Breakfast is served starting at 6:00 in the morning, and offers three different breakfast sets; we chose mixed fruit, eggs with bacon, toasted bread, fruit juices, coffee; even in this case, the personnel was very kind. Totally unexpected, very good, and very much appreciated has been the surprise cake on the day of my birthday. The very efficient and professional hotel receptionist, Ms. Moe Pwint Oo, has perfectly arranged for us the pick-up at the Heho airport, and the full day excursion on Inle Lake, giving us many good suggestions, to make our stay even better; bicycles are available on free-of-charge basis, which allowed us to visit some attractions in Nyaung Shwe and outside the town. Last benefit we got, and appreciated very much, has been the free late check-out, which allowed us to shorten the waiting time for our night bus to Mandalay. Excellent stay, full of attentions by the friendly and efficient staff, an appealing place full of charm, a kind people who never miss the smile.
