We have celebrated our wedding reception in Palacio Azcarate and couldn't have been any better! Planning and management were over the top, definitely exceeded expectations! All our guests that stayed in the Palacuo Azcarate for the night or weekend told us how much they enjoyed and how good the experience was. Staff is awesome, friendly and always happy to go...

Ezcaray is a charming town, full of History and Beautiful Surroundings. This Hotel-Restaurant is located next to the old Church in a lovely square. The atmosphere in the Hotel can't be improved and it is full of hospitality. Highly recommended if visiting the area. The breakfast is also a MUST!

Very pleasant facility with excellent breakfast--both the venua and the food. A very good choice if you have reason to be in the area--on the edge of Rioja vineyards on one side and mountains on the other

Were only there for one night and while the town doesn't have much to do it is convenient to the 2 Michelin star restaurant next door, and also to explore some of the small (some practically deserted) villages nearby. Our room was lovely and the service was great. We had lunch in the garden which was very pleasant and the...

This cozy Hotel is located in an attractive small town. It's very close to a ski resort called "Valdezcaray". Staff working there were really nice and helpful. This Hotel is perfect for family Holidays. Rooms were spacious enough.

We stayed for four nights in the Palacio Azcarate and had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated to combine modern and more traditional elements, the rooms are clean and spacious, the wifi works perfectly and the hotel is situated in the heart of the bustling village of Ezcaray. We cannot praise Zenaide (the manager of the Palacio)...

A real find, in an attractive small town. The bedrooms are excellent, my only (small) criticism is with the bathroom fittings - they look OK but a tap may come off in your hand! A small price to pay for large, comfortable bedrooms in traditional Spanish style. The reception rooms are similar, elegant and colourful, and the gleaming restaurant is...

I believe we were the only guests staying at the Palacio Azcarate in the early spring, but the hotel staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome, including preparing a special meal for us (since all the village restaurants were closed that night). Our room was large and comfortable, and there was secure parking for our car.
