My wife and I had a 2 night stay in the hotel after a week in their appartment El Caserio last year. We stayed in the top suite, a spacious appartment with a huge, comfortable bed and nice lounge and bathroom. The style of all the rooms is lovely (we peeked into quite a few!). Breakfast is a more than...

Charming hotel with very friendly staff. We had a junior suite which was spacious but on the top floor. Something to remember if you have heavy luggage. Other rooms looked beautiful. We did not have breakfast but the room looked lovely, overlooking the garden. Well worth a detour to the town on Ezcaray.

Stayed for two nights at this family owned hostales. Can really recommend this place, with clean, nice rooms, in a quiet and small, well off, village. The owners and their staff was more than helpful and anxious to see us satisfied. The breakfast was delicious!! Stay at Casa Masip when you visit Ezcaray!

Stayed for three nights as part of a cycling tour in La Rioja. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were of a good quality. Ezcaray is a lively town and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from but this does mean that if you have a room that faces on to the street and...

We spent one night in Ezcaray in order to see the area and eat in the Michelin starred El Portal restaurant. We were 2 couples, and we stayed in Casa Masip which is about a 2 minute walk from the restaurant. When we checked in, we realized that we were probably in for an unforgettable experience. We were greeted by...

We recently stayed in the loft apartment at Casa Masip. Despite being incredibly busy due to the Festival weekend, staff made every effort to greet us warmly, arrange for parking in their garage (no extra charge) and book us a table for dinner that evening. The loft apartment with bedroom and living room with sofa bed was beautifully furnished with...

Stayed here for 2 nights in September. Lovely room overlooking the road (but not a drive through road) in the centre of the little town. Comfortable 4 poster bed. Ezcaray is a lovely little town, we fell in love with it. We ate at two restaurants, the first I unfortunately can't remember the name, but nice food, we ate out...

I really enjoyed my one night stay here. Not at all pretentious. Nothing luxurious, but clean, cozy and quiet. A very family feeling to it. Two wonderful sisters run the B&B. It's in the heart of town and near a lovely courtyard. They also have a little tapas restaurant next door. I had one of the attic rooms with a...

I was staying at the Parador in Santa Domingo dela Calzeda, when I stumbled across this place for some evening tapas. I was so impressed I booked in for the next night. The room was amazing (four poster bed and a jacuzzi bath). It looks like it comes out of a quality travel magazine! The breakfast room/ lounge area is...

Csa Masip is a wonderful hotel, right in the heart of a charming and untouristy small town. The host was extraordinarily friendly, helped us find places to eat, said hello when we were on our tapas crawl on the main square. The breakfast was great, too!
