Dihan - Hôtel De Cabanes is frequently praised for its cozy charm and attentive service, with guests highlighting the well-decorated lounge and inviting natural setting that allows for wildlife enjoyment. However, while the cleanliness and design of the accommodations have been commended, there's a call for more showers.
Some guests feel the cost doesn't match the value due to pricey extras and limited facilities. The serene ambiance and well-equipped cabins are popular, although requests for increased privacy in spa areas have been noted.

We stayed with our grandchildren for one night in the sterenn cabin A safety ramp is missing for access with children The ascent and descent are a bit “sporty” We are delighted with the welcome we received, everything is respectful of the environment, we feel like we are in nature everywhere, everything is well thought out, it’s very nice Just a little clarification: we would have liked just a small water point in the cabin toilets Having read the other reviews regarding cleanliness, there is nothing to say in that regard…..it is indeed a habitat in a cabin and you can find a few small critters there but completely normal for this type stay For those who mind, choose a “sterilized” vacation.

It would have been helpful to have been informed beforehand that we needed to reserve a basket for dinner before arrival, so good to remember if you're booking.
Also, as a suggestion, it would be good if you could hire pillows & blankets. We stayed in a "bulles" tent, which was an incredible experience, but we couldn't bring pillows as we were on a motorbike & so we were using clothing as a pillow & it would have been so much more comfortable if we could have had pillows. Having said that, we had the best experience & the massage with Silvia the next day really helped!!

Very beautiful night in a little cocoon the lov'nid. Above all, don't get airsick because it moves a little due to the fact that the lov'nid is hung by ropes, very particular when you go there for the first time. Temperatures still a little too cool for the season, a little extra heating would have been welcome or at least an extra blanket. Better to do it in summer I think. Skylight high up, too bad it isn't cleaner so you can better admire the stars at night. 2 portholes to see outside, possibility of opening them. Bedding very good. Quiet and relaxing place in the middle of nature, dry toilets very good idea but not close enough to the cabin in my opinion. You shouldn't be in a hurry to go there, we'll say.
Bad points: -Real tea light candles provided to light gently in place of the lamp provided for the lov'nid... average when you know that the entire structure is made of wood and that an accident can very quickly happen due to the smallness of the place... fortunately a fire extinguisher is installed in the passenger compartment. -The exterior door to enter and exit is really not practical, it does not open enough for you to enter the lov'nid standing up, having to almost bend in two to enter, very unfortunate if back or knee pain..

No accessible jacuzzi contrary to the announcement and spa at an additional cost (20€/person for 45 minutes!) Very little privacy on the site, accommodation close to each other, many overlooked on the paths from the dome and curtains too small for privacy. Rickety furniture, the curtain rod fell on us. Railway track at - 20m so loud noises and shaking each time the train passes. No heating in the dome (additional charge, not specified!) so you have to take the blankets and sleeping bags out of the car..! Common areas too small for the number of travelers, impossible to eat in the warm common lounge. Frugal breakfast: just a croissant and half a baguette. Housekeeping in the accommodation leaves something to be desired (hair, stains, dust, insects). Absence of trash can even in a toilet. Not even a jerry can of water or hydro-alcoholic gel near the toilets. Yet accustomed to this type of accommodation, this one is poorly thought out, expensive, frustrating. To avoid !!

In the Lapland chalet very good, isolated facing the forest, quiet Welcome arrival and departure very well. Relaxation area by the impeccable swimming pool. Trusted hosts for drinks. A good stay where we will certainly come back to try other infrastructures The only downside is that the price of the dinner basket is a little expensive for what it contains, even if it was very good.

We spent three nights in the yurt with a family of four.
The area is beautiful, the yurt very secluded, there were horses and a donkey in front of our tent and the forest surrounding it is very tranquil. It's a really beautiful getaway. There's also a very nice pool (with wooden lining, making it feel very different) and lounge area. Staff was very friendly and had suggestions about what to see in the area.
We were not very happy with the price/quality ratio though. The web site says "A romantic glamping weekend? A family holiday?" and we feel it was suitable for neither.
The yurt is pretty but has no amenities. Not having power or water isn't a problem to us, but it also had no storage space, no cutlery, no plates or glasses. For a family holiday, kids at some point need food. There is also no place to do dishes. The who area feels very secluded and it's a perfect place to be alone with the family, but you'd have to do without a glass to drink your wine from.
We explained to the owner that with "glamping" we'd expect a combination of comping with a bit more luxury. Apparently they do not want to be a camping, or do anything that's typical of "glamping" and we felt mislead by their website. We got a very condescending e-mail back insinuating that we were probably better off on a campsite with slides and stuff. We thought we explained quite nicely where the mismatch came from, but were taken aback by the rude mail.
The staff on the site itself was very nice though, they lend us plates and cutlery and understood that paying 280 euros for a tent alone was maybe a bit steep. We saw two other families leave who had similar experiences.
It's true, if you read the website carefully, you might make out that the yurt is kind of small, and the fact that there is a cupboard there doesn't mean you can open it to store your stuff in, and the fact that it doesn't have a kitchen may also imply that you don't have any glasses or cutlery. And you don't have to mention that there's a train driving right next to the yurt, but hey.
But it's just not what you expect for that price and calling yourself "glamping"..

A cabin perched 5m high, accessible by a staircase, built around the trunk of a solid pine tree. A first landing serving 2 cabins, equipped with a large table and chairs, allowed us to dine outside, in the setting sun. (I had booked a vegetarian meal). In the cabin, we had a very large bed, with a very warm duvet, in this season, we could have hoped for warmer inside but we decided to play the game until the end, no electricity, no water, dry toilets from where we could see the surrounding nature. We didn't try the swimming pool due to the weather. We slept well but the mattress perhaps needs to be revised, heavy rain woke us up in the morning, but our copious breakfast was waiting for us at the appointed time, at the end of the rope. We were able to take advantage of the showers in the dedicated area. An unforgettable experience that will remain engraved in our memories, and that we recommend to everyone, for a weekend closer to nature.

Just wow! From the idyllic place, through the Swedish spa and the night in the heart of the stars accompanied by the magnificent full moon of this month of November.
We had booked the packed lunch which was absolutely delicious! Tender and perfectly cooked meat.
We even took advantage of this cool evening to play a few games of billiards next to the common lounge, which was warmly animated by a wood fire lit by our host Marion.
Thank you for everything ! Your chalets are fabulous, we also walked around your estate.
Nature and tranquility was the perfect combo!

We had a good gift and had a hard time finding a date, so we ended up renting on weekdays. Heol Cabin for 2 adults and 2 children with breakfast 255€.
Very welcome, nice site. Full breakfast. Board games available, billiards, table football that delighted the children. Pool/loundge bar area beautifully appointed and decorated.
But 3 showers in the shared bathrooms is too few. We had to wait a while our turn to shower. Wet bed linen when we arrived and yet it was not raining this Monday. When we arrived, we were not told that we would have to bring the breakfast cart, the dry toilet bag... bag that was too thin and pierced when we wanted to take it to the garbage corner... No small curtains or shutters... on a full moon night. Small place. In the morning it rained and slippery stairs
We had already stayed in a Tree Cabin on another estate and found it more "comfortable". We find that the Award is not justified.

Good morning, We spent a very nice weekend in a cabin last weekend (06/15/24). The weather wasn't great (rain and cold) which "spoiled" this moment a bit. Fortunately, part of the terrace was sheltered and a small auxiliary heater was available in the cabin. We appreciated. The cabin was great. Only negative points: stairs to access the cabin: not easy to access, it's a cabin so it's completely understandable. We nevertheless think that it will be good to specify it somewhere because we came as a family with a little girl of 4 years old; the cabin was cleaned but there was a lot of dust around and under the mattresses (remember to vacuum these places) which caused me to have an asthma attack and my night was a little chaotic ( no possibility of opening during the night because of rain and cold); We didn't mind emptying the trash and dry toilets when we left. On the other hand, a thicker bag would have been appreciated for the dry toilets - we had to add a second one on top because the first one was much too thin and not strong enough.
