We stayed only one night at this comfortable and well sited hotel in the lovely seaside town of Villers Sur Mer. The room was comfortable, well equipped, quiet and clean. It was surprisingly inexpensive too. It does not have its own car park but there are plenty spaces close by. The hotel manager was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful. The sea promenade is a one minute walk and several restaurants & bars are close by. I recommend the Hotel Des Falaises to you.
The hotel is as small and charming as the village of Villers-Sur-Mer. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the hotel offers what it should: clean, quiet, spacious rooms and a perfect breakfast. We'll be back in Villers and Hotel des Falaises.
We stayed in the top floor in a room facing the street, with good views of the other old buildings along the street and a narrow stretch of the ocean. The room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately the middle of the night was filled with the noise of screaming youths in the street below. No fault of the hotel's, but one wondered how it could be that (perhaps I am too naive) no authorities stepped in to control the noise, which went on for hours.
We generally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Checkin was very efficient and the room we had was spacious with a good sized ensuite bathroom. The wifi connection was quite weak which was a disappointment. Breakfast was not included in our room rate and we picked something up from the bakery next door. The hotel is on the main street heading down towards the beach - about 1 minute's walk. The town of Villers-sur-Mur is quite small and we were quite disappointed that there was not more to do - especially because it was raining and not quite beach weather. If you are staying in Villers-sur-Mur this would be a good and not expensive option.
Stayed 2 nights in this lovely seaside town. Hotel des Falaises is a great spot to relax. Close to everything, sea views, very clean and tidy and extremely helpful and friendly staff. But beware, this is a seaside town so if seafood isn't your thing you may not find too many places to eat especially in the off season when not everything is open. Our room was for 2 persons so if you like a bit of room you might want to ask for a 3 or 4 person room. Either way the rates are really good and breakfast is available. We had a wonderful relaxing time here. Only thing we missed was tea and coffee facilities in the room.
