Location is everything: this is a riverside campground with a view of the medieval town Limeuil. We rented a chalet for a week (number 87), the perfect spot in our opinion: quiet and with a view to the river. The chalet was clean and comfortable, except for the extremely hard beds. Even our 8 year old complained about it. The... More

We had the choice of 2 pitches, view of the river or extra large. We went for the latter as even away from the river mosquitoes were a real problem. The site us generally clean and tidy. The shop has very few items but bread available if you get in early even though the site was ver quiet early in... More

We were a group of 13 people with 8 tents and 4 cars and we got a big area near the river. The employees were extremely kind and they loved their jobs. Their were no kids but there are a lot of facilities for kids such as playgrounds small separate swimming pool for kids. We were there for kayaking so... More

Stayed here in June 2016 after a long spell of very wet weather. we rented a mobile home from Eurocamp which was fine. The reps were extremely helpful and couldn't have done more for us. We had intended to stay a week and do some canoeing but left after 4 days because of the high water on the river Dordogne.... More

We had booked a static for about 6 nights but this is also the perfect touring site with a wide choice of shady, wooded and riverside pitches. It was September and although the site was getting ready to close there were still plenty of tourers coming and going. The pool area was pleasant and quiet, but we can imagine it... More

We have been visiting this campsite for nearly 20 years now and have not had many years where we have not visited All we can say is WOW - the views from the campsite are stunning Didier and Nadeche (the owners) are always really helpful The location is central in the Dordogne so most of the places to visit are... This camp site is on the banks of the Dordogne with excellent facilities. Free wifi at reception, beautiful swimming pool, very good 'snack' type food, grocery shop, easy walk into the village. Loved it!

We stayed in a Eurocamp tent for 8 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The river is beautiful and the site and facilities are very clean and suited our needs well. The food from the snack bar was tasty and a decent price. The only slight niggles we had were that the small pool was very cool even on hot... More

In August 2013 on a month long tour of France with my ,then, girlfriend and her motorhome, along with my 9yo daughter we washed up at Le Port de Limeuil. " Got any vacancies?" Just returned from 2 week break with Eurocamp. Lovely site, owners seem very relaxed. Great bar and restaurant, well stocked shop. Lots to do in local area. We tried canooing which was fantastic. The village of limeuil is beautiful with great restaurants. Only gripes are the pool was cold and sunbeds were occupied by towels.
