We are off to aqualand today for my daughters birthday. We live around two hours away and thought it would be a great idea to stay close, have a good night sleep and be there relaxed for when the park opens. In theory fantastic. We arrived at all suits, super staff on reception. I asked for a quiet situated room, perfect. We are not using the kitchen facilities, they looked pretty basic, not the cleanest, but ok. The real problems started when we unfolded and tried to sleep in the double sofa bed. With every slight move there was an almighty racket from the mechanism which woke me, my husband and my girls, and the girls were in the next room. So I’ve woken very tired, not raring to go and really disappointed that I spent 105€ on the worst night ever. We won’t be staying here again.

Stayed here for three nights in July. Selected a lake view room and glad we did as the other rooms just seem to overlook the car park. Small kitchen area with barely enough room to prepare anything and very basic utensils, not even a spatula! Nice pool area with very comfortable sun beds, best I have ever seen! No sun shades but later in the afternoon, one of the apartment blocks gradually shades the pool. Very clean. No a/c so a fan is required in hot weather. Noticed that many apartment places do not supply a kettle or a toaster so we were glad we bought our own. Lovely lake walks in the evening. There were tennis courts too but not sure if you need to pay or supply your own equipment. Massive car park. Friendly English speaking staff. We did have an issue with our room and they swapped it with minimal fuss. Five minutes walk to a massive retail park (all looked brand new) with lots of shops, restaurants and a large supermarket with a petrol filling station at reasonable price when I was there. Our stay was only spoiled by a couple of smokers in the room next to us who smoked lots one evening so we could not sit out on our patio and enjoy the evening by the lake. Couldn't even have our patio doors open. Oh well... All in all can definitely recommend.

The apartment was nice, clean and not old at all (we were in builing B). The kitchen utensils very indeed very basic, no big coffee cups or a water heater, but hey it's a holiday, we could manage. The Leclerc is conveniently close. We had an apartment close to the lake with a lot of ducks. Oh my god, they were constantly quacking, even in the middle of the night. I have never heard anything like this. Don't get me wrong, we slept like babies, so it didn't annoy us, we just found it very strange and even funny. Maybe there were too many ducks in the lake, so they were constantly arguing with each other.

Super clean and nice room very good bed ,,,and the price is very low comparing to hotels in France. If you stay longer than 7nights you can get better price too.= one month is far cheaper but you need to put big deposit. Only thing I did not like about this apartment is the kitchen = small and hard to cook and the fridge was small too=== but at this price in France you can not expect too much,,and this has very nice bathtab and hot water"!!! instead so I liked this apartment very much. On the other hand I tried several cotages in Camping site near this property= about 20~30km away there are many Camping place in which you can rent a moving house at even cheaper price than this apartment= they all have nice big kitchen! So if you want to cook and u had a car you should go to Camp! Near the dune is recommended

I liked the place, despite a couple of shortcomings. Not that easy to find, no signs, a bit out of town. Advise taking a look at google maps before heading off. It's a big block of short-term rental apartments. Ample parking outside, though it might not be enough in high season... The place is on the banks of a small lake, which is good if your apartment faces that way – otherwise you have a view of the construction work going on on the other side of the road. Reception has limited hours - make sure you get there at the right time.... The staff were friendly and helpful. I was in a studio (corner flat, so large picture windows let a lot of light in). The flat was not spacious, but had everything you need (the outside balcony, complete with a table and chairs, must be nice in summer). The small kitchen is in a corridor between the entrance and the room, with a door – which is very useful to keep cooking smells out of the bedroom…. The kitchen has a small electric range (2 hobs), a filter coffee machine, a microwave and a small fridge. There are enough pots and pans, cutlery and crockery. No washcloth, sponge or washing up liquid, though. The bedroom has a medium sized flat screen with all inputs (no English language channels). Wifi worked fine – clocked about 7 mbps. Bathroom was good enough, hot water fine (the flat has its own boiler). Storage space could be improved – small closet only. There is a dining room where you can have a buffet breakfast - did not have any so can't comment. Also a coin-op laundry, IIRC 4 Euros or so for a wash or dry.
