This campsite is situated on the banks of the Dordogne river with a stunning view of Beynac. It has a 100+ pitches all are a really good size. The facilities are good! The toilets are clean with a good supply of hot water for the showers. The bar area is nice with a pool table, TV, books and games. It...

Stayed in our camping van with 2 other friends, absolutely amazing site with views of the Beynac chateau to die for. Fabulous bike trails along dordogne river. The site is the best we have visited in the region, facilities spotless and staff are so friendly, will definitely be on our list to come back. Fab.

We have just returned from this site having split our holiday into 2 separate sites, first staying in Argeles in the South with 5 nights here at Le Capeyrou. It was fabulous, we stayed in a safari tent via Euro Camp and we could not fault it in terms of comfort, cleanliness, equipment or location. The site is probably the...

We took our own canoe and found this campsite to be absolutely perfect; right on the river, great swimming pool, lovely bar and very well maintained facilities. We loved the bakery just over the road from the campsite, the butcher was also very good! Perfect campsite for our family holiday - will definitely be going back to Le Capeyrou!!

We stayed here with Eurocamp in a safari tent and the facilities were excellent! The bar was on the expensive side but with a supermarket down the road not such a huge issue. Would certainly stay here again though!

We stayed for 15 nights in the height of the season. It calmed down on August 25th. When we booked we were recommended the comfort pitches which was very spacious, partly shady, with electricity and our own tap. It was next to the river with the path running the other side of the fence. There wasn't too much noise from...

We booked Le Capeyrou based on the Cool Camping website reviews and we were thrilled with this discovery. The campsite is set in the most idyllic location in the Dordogne, overlooked by the stunning chateau and right next to the river itself. The pitches (we had a large one with electric hook-up) are a good size and have lots of...

We arrived at this in ~35 degree to find our booked pitch had no shade during the main part of the day. So I approached reception with my fingers crossed and we were lucky enough to be able to move pitch. We had a standard pitch and it was plenty big enough for our VW camper, awning and room to...

This was our second stay at Le Capeyrou - we had amazing memories from the first visit and the second visit didn't disappoint. Family and friends came with us too and loved it. The views of the castle from our pitch were amazing, (princess or knight's castle depending on if you asked our daughters or our nephew!) since we last...

Nice friendly place, very slow and relaxed atmosphere. There is a road that runs nearby, it is not an isolated site, but it is a good one with clean toilet blocks and a good pool. Proper campsite, good pitches, nice bar, well located.
