Very good food. Great position with excellent view. Good service with very good trendy menu. Very good wine list. Kind of a hidden jewel mostly known by the Swiss-Germans and Germans. English spoken and also for the menu. Parking is limited.

We have stayed in the Hotel Dellago now three times and it will be our destination whenever we are in the Ticino. If you want a corporate hotel, where the fridge is always in the same place, the entrance hall and rooms look identical and the food is predictably corporate, this place is not for you! But if you seek... More

I spent only one night there during our trip from Italy to germany by car with my friend Andreas that always stays there, and the Hotel location on the lake is SO nice. we had an Aperol spritz on the Balcony of the restaurant which was very good. The room with lake view was so good, the sleeping quality is... More

We have had a number of visitors this summer who have stayed in this gorgeous hotel, all of whom have been delighted with the facilities and the uniqueness of the ambience and location. A special mention must also go to the lovely and helpful "Dagmar" who serves at the lakeside bar and is an asset to the hotel. She is... More

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and sitting outside for the meals was a bonus. Enjoyed that we had great hiking just behind the hotel , hiked for nearly 4 hours starting and ending up at the hotel . Only minus was the dirty and polluted lake , not inviting at all .... Would have been great... More

A charming hotel! This wonderful little hotel is situated right at the lakeside, with the terrace even hanging out over the water. When having breakfast or dinner you can watch the ducks swimming by, or people arriving by boat to get their bread at a bakery. There's also a lounge bar downstairs, right at the water. It's an old house... More

I stayed in room "Tarzan & Jane" which is facing the street, but it shares a large terrace together with the room next door called "Campari & Orange" (where our friends stayed), so you can still enjoy the spectacular lake view on a comfy sofa. The room was on the small side but actually we didn't need more and considering... More

No, we will not tell you which room is our favorite, it is already overbooked but there are now two more favorites across the road, where the materials are better (newer building) and you still get a view. The owner has travelled the world and is not shy in his whimsical tastes. Everything is very colorful and comfy. The main... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Dellago was built as a small family hotel around 1907 and has since seen many concepts & transformations, but it has never been completely restructurated: this place has style and patina.as a holiday hotel, there is not enough space, as a design hotel we are much too improvised and for families we are far from being suitable, but for a relaxing city escape in jeans and chucks it's absolutely gorgeous. 21 simple or stylish, basic and luxurious, tiny and huge but always surprising rooms, an excellent fish and seafood restaurant, cool sound, wacky people and a lake lounge where your feet sometimes literally get wet are all perfect reasons to forget about the daily hassle for a couple of precious moments. ... more   less
