It’s run down, tired and the facilities are just abysmal. The once star Michelin restaurant seems to be the only thing going for it however the day we checked in and then out it was closed - would have been good to be told before arriving. I would not recommend to anyone.

This is a modest hotel but has all the essentials, and great WIFI internet. The rooms are average, there is some nice artwork, and very clean. Some of the wall paper needs repair. The air conditioning worked great for us in July. The bathroom was adequate and clean. Small breakfast is provided in the morning with typical pastries, cheese, yogurt, cold cuts, cereal, juice, milk, coffee breads + toaster. No eggs or hot dishes.

The service was very warm but amateurish. The breakfast was the most modest we had during our long trip around Puglia, Basilicata and Abruzzo. Perhaps because we seemed to be the only guests.....
