Pros nice town with good views on one side Cons - lots. First room was filthy and the bed was on a slant. the rude young guy at reception wouldn't change our room and snickered when I asked for this. The next day the manager switched us rooms to one that was clean and had a view. We got back...

I found this hotel on google maps, just looking along the route I planned, around the time I wanted to stop for that day. The hotel gets a lot of big groups, busloads. But since the hotel is ENORMOUS, they are not disturbing you. Only at breakfast. Poor lady who had to cater alone for two busloads... Luckily they were...

We spent a week at this hotel as a base for a walking holiday in the Gredos mountains and were very satisfied with the hotel and the service we received. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our regular waiter in the evening was fantastic. He was very cheerful, friendly, helpful and hardworking and, although we had little language in...

There was a funny smell of rotten garbage in the foyer. The room was poorly maintained, worn out. Staff seemed uninterested. The bar/cafe/lounge/terrace was always closed - no service. The whole experience left me thinking 'where is the love'?!

This was the most expensive hotel in our trip from UK to Algarve , and I had even upgraded to a room with a terrace for an extra €10. It was very busy late Saturday afternoon, as there appeared to be some meetings and lunch parties. The room was large and positioned at the far end of a long corridor...

WiFi free in the rooms, good rooms, friendly staff and the hotel is surrounded by the lovely village of "barco de Ávila" , tgat i...

We paid E41 for a double room with breakfast. The location is good - adjacent to the main road, but with excellent views. There isoff street parking and wifi at no cost....

I stayed in the hotel (also called Real Barco) 4 nights, as I was skyin in the nearby Sierra de Béjar. The hotel is very confortable, clean and the rooms are excellent. Workers were very nice and willing to help. I had a half board food plan and I thought the food was overprocessed and not that good. Otherwise, breakfast...
